The buying experience was good as there was no waiting time, about riding quality it was sporty but not for longer rides. It looks awesome It is a college boy's bike in its performance it is best in the low-end and mid-range not much in the high end, servicing and maintenance are a bit costly but once it is serviced its runs smoothly
Pro- good eye-catching bike, fit and finish, full of torque and fun to ride in cities
Cons- after a few years it tends to lose its stance by having some issues with electronic or the engine, the seat is not padded well, costing is a bit high for a 155cc bike

The first thing I like about this bike is the looks and that is the reason I bought this bike, it looks better than any other bike under 200cc segment.
The second thing I like is the mileage 42-45km in a busy city like south Mumbai.
The third thing I like is the maneuvering ability, it’s comfortable to control the bike in traffic.
The fourth thing I like is the dual-channel abs braking system and traction control which assures great safety.
The fifth thing I enjoy is its performance, this thing is truly a pocket rocket!
Now let’s talk about the downsides.
The first thing I dislike is the build quality, it’s made out of thin and hollow plastic material which looks very fragile and could break easily. That is the reason it’s so lightweight and gives good mileage.
The second thing I dislike is the seat cushioning, it could’ve been thicker (no complaints about the pillion, it feels fun to sit behind and enjoy the wind kissing your face)
The third thing I dislike is that it’s OVERPRICED! Having a 155cc engine and low-quality build, the looks and mileage alone do not justify its pricing. It definitely should have been at least 10-15k lower.
But since it was my dream bike a year and a half ago and I was restricted by budget, I had to buy this unique beast.
Being a 5’11 talk rider, my preference if I had a higher budget would’ve been Royal Enfield Classic, Honda Cb350 or Duke 200.

    Here is rider review.
Yes, its pricy and I know that well. Few points from my experience.
Permium engine. With no doubt you will never feel its 155cc.
Perfect suspension for indian roads. Fz25 or any other wont offer this feel when you ride this on the street.
Height and weight is evenly place at the best seating style. R15 lacks in city riding.
    Decent mileage of 45 kmpl.
Well build and better than R15 and ofcourse Fz25.
Futuristic look and excellent projector light front and rear.
Single channel abs is more than enough. Rear abs is useless in all bike. So this is not the fact which stopping you to buy.
Ground clearance and turning radius. No other bike in india will have better than this.
This is overall a best bike in this segment. What you put money in any yamaha bike you wont regret any day. Worth for money.
Note: FZ25 is own brand and close competitor. FZ25 is two year old bike, so its obvious there are so many Fz fans supports for FZ25. For 250cc, Fz25 lack so much power and For 155cc, MT15 has best power.

    Tips for other riders

Make sure you warmup the engine in the morning before taking it out. This can be done by just switching on the bike and let it idle for around 1–2mins. Since it is new, for the first 1000kms do not revv the engine above 4000–5000RPM. Always keep the RPM below 4000 until the first service. Whatever you do, the mileage will be comparitively lower during the first 1000kms and will increase gradually after the first service.

Riding this bike was an excellent experience, seating gives more comfort when riding, the gear shift was quite good and the speed pickup was excellent. Will give a sports bike experience. This bike is comfortable. You can go for this bike. The Yamaha Mt 15 v2 is a good bike. Carrying the legacy of the MT series, the new MT-15 V2 brings more aggression and agility now.

The best thing about yamaha mt 15 is that it is low maintenance and also it gives mileage of around 50km/l which according to me after having a 155cc bs6 engine is very good. I also love the looks of this bike, Looks are very aggressive and i have never seen front looks like this on any other bike.

I bought an mt15 from my nearby dealer one month after its launch. The bike is very rider-friendly and can be taken on any road. The suspension is stiffer on one side. The average fuel efficiency is around 40 km pl. I would recommend this bike for those who are more into sporty rides and not for family rides.

    Nisarg Pednekar

    Manu

Price - 2.09 lakh (base variant - full black - dual channel ABS, traction control, no bluetooth, no led indicators)
    Pros:
    - Best front looks (DRL, projector headlight, golden USD)
    - Very good mileage (biggest advantage)
    - Good handling
    - Good power for a 150 cc
    - Upright seating posture
    - Dual channel ABS (very useful in rain)
    - Traction control (only useful in mud/sand)
    - Very less heating
    Cons:
    - Very poor headlight visibility (biggest disadvantage)
    - Stiff suspension (comfortable only in highways/good roads)
    - Uncomfortable pillion seat
    - Non practical grab rail
    - Ugly looking tail tidy (mud can still splash even with this)
    - Parts quality are not good (brake lever bend after taking a fall, chain and front disk rusted in rain)
    Notes:
    - VVA will be activated after 7k rpm, before that it will run like a normal 150 cc bike.
    - Keeping rpm below 7k will definitely give 50+ kmpl. I was getting 50-52 kmpl before my 1st service
    itself.
    - Avoid riding in pitch dark condition, you won't see pot holes coming. High beam is also useless since it
will be shooting light to the trees.

My friend bought this bike 1 year before and I drove it and I liked it. So I wanna buy the same one because it gives that much comfort and pleasure. Everyone said it might take a month to deliver the bike but I got it within 4 days of booking and I'm so happy with this machine. The best bike that I've driven so far:).
