It is good for daily commute. But has some issues, like cold starting it is a big problem in winters, and morning start even in summers. The bike always needs to start using choke, and riding first few kilometer will have jerk due to poor throttle response. After 4-5 mins of riding it gets normal. The tyre size is thin and hard braking results in skidding of motorcycle. So, i upgraded the rear tyre (mrf zapper 100/80/18) at 3500km for better grip. First 10000-12000km had an economy of 44-45kmpl, after that it increased to 55-57kmpl. Highest achieved by me was 62-63kmpl.

Cb shine is a perfect bike for daily city use and mini long drives also. Its sound is very nice, performance is also very nice at city roads and in city traffics. In starting mileage was awesome. I have driven this bike at 60-65km/litre. But its maintenance cost is expensive, its parts cost are expensive. On highway driving also its feeling is like 150cc bike, its balance is well at above 60km/hr speed.Tyres are tubeless which is one great advantage.Overall performance is good but if its maintenance cost like after sometime some parts should be replaced, and their costs are a bit headache.

It's a great bike if you are looking for daily commuting. The bike will give you great mileage 50-55 easily without any issue. If you are someone who is looking for fun to ride a bike then don't go for it if you rev it hard you are gonna lose mileage more than 60 kmph the engine gets heated so much and you can feel the vibrations also on the footpeg there should be more refinement in the engine and all 1 -2-3 gears are short but 4 gear is long you are gonna definitely miss the 5th gear as well there should be a proper gearing ratio unpleasing experience after 60 km for a brand like honda it's not worthy. Seat comfortable is great...I have hero honda passion plus also it is 14 yrs old bike but after 55 kmph I feel like the engine way better than honda shine.the bikes are today getting more styles but in build quality and durability of bikes are getting low day by day they are selling their products on the name of the brand only.

I am riding very smooth but still many times my bike was slipped due to bad grip of backside tyre4: nobody is helpful from service centre so depend on you what you have to purchase5: expected was not done from honda as I want.It's overall I recommend you if you want to purchase any bike or scooter so go for another brand

I have purchased on 1st Jan 2021 Honda shine bs6 model. I had a drive of about 1000 km. I hand hero Honda splendour which I used around 11 years. It was comfortable for my hight (5ft3inch). while purchasing Honda Shine I got fear of my hight...but it is very comfortable...

It was comfortable for my hight (5ft3inch). while purchasing Honda Shine I got fear of my hight...but it is very comfortable for even short riders of my hight. very smooth engine start and comfortable while riding ...no vibration and strain on back and thigh muscle. it's a very smooth and comfortable bike. no dought short rider of about 5.2 ft can handle this.. please don't confuse if you plan to buy the shine ..go for it.
