Most underrated adventure bike in 250-300cc segment
42 weeks ago
Tirthankar Goono
1. Suzuki doesn't promote this bike the way it should be. 2. No vibration at all. In highway 90-110 you can cruise with ease. No vibration was felt at my feet or hand during my Kolkata Sikkim Bhutan circuit. Am 5ft 11 and am comfortable with the seating posture.Pros 1. Can take to Leh, Sikkim with no problem. Ground clearance is very good. No issues with off-road. 2. No vibration. Comes with a charging port and the instrument cluster is average. Comfortable seats and sitting posture are very good for long rides.3. Lights are very good. Still suggest adding extra lights for long rides at night. 4. Have the rack space for the top box. 5. Mileage is 35-40 depending upon how you throttle, and terrain. 6. Cooling system is absolutely spot on. No heat at all coming from the engine in your long rides. 7. Servicing cost is cheap and parts are generally available. Cons1. Horn is very bad2. Side Stand footing is small. Buy an extender. 3. Higher turning radius. 4. No RSA provided by Suzuki.

Strom is Storm in Quarter lit.

The buying experience was decent. Although, the showroom didn't give me a good deal and hadn't completed the promises still I was in love with the bike so I purchased it from them anyway. Riding experience is the ultimate to date. I have ridden 1700km and done my first service. I am getting good mileage, did an 800 km return trip with luggage and it was a comfortable ride both for rider and the pillion. Looks are awesome. Many eyes turn around when the bike passes or in a parking lot. It gives a big bike feel. Servicing is an area that is debatable. I did my first service but I think Suzuki's service centers need improvements. I have read reviews about Suzuki's service centers and I felt those are pretty true. However, the dealer is renowned and premium in my city so their customer service is good and responsive. Handling ( except left-hand side pulling, which has a solution but my service center does not know). Mileage, Seat comfort, and Headlight (compared to others in the segment) look very good. No heating issue. Maintenance cost. Need more initial torq. Side mirrors. The visor is a bit small. The exhaust note and its position bit awkward. The horn is loud but very scootish sound. The headlight throw is a bit awkward. The hazard light is missing. It should be included as it is a touring machine. After-sales service.

I went for a gixxer 250 and bought this the moment I saw it. 1. Excellent smooth engine with mileage ranging from 33-52kmpl. 2. Effortless cruise capability at 100-115 mph for extended hours.3. No heating issues and performance drop after long runs.4. Very reasonable service cost.5. Acceleration is not frightening but enough to take most bikes in the category.6. Bit tall for me and not clickable. Being a short rider it makes me sweat in city riding but I am getting along with that. On the highway, I can travel 300 km straight and go for work without any fatigue.7. A no-regret bike to own.

1. The buying experience is very good. when I visited to buy this machine in black colour they didn't have stock but as they promised they would bring the bike within 2. days & they did it... Love this service2. Riding experience: nothing to say... I just love to ride this machine... an awesome experience... Now my machine running 10530km within 9 months. I have done almost 5000km with a long ride it was a lovely experience. 3. Looks & performance: Performance is good.. you can get a decent average of 35-37 in the city & 40+ you can get easily on the highway depending on your riding style & weight. The looks are nice... but it could be more attractive if Suzuki give a little bit more features. I have seen one of the manufacturing defects on the knuckle guard.4. servicing & maintenance: it's a 250cc segment adventure machine so definitely service & maintenance will be a little bit high from other machines. but it is decent... if you own this type of machine & also if you are a daily user then you need to keep it under regular maintenance.Overall I love This machine in the adventure segment at this price... I would highly recommend it to those who can start with adventure.

The service experience was my bad.But servicing is very good and fine and it's pocket friendly. The overall servicing cost is around 1200 to 1500.5. Pros.If you are searching for a tour or adventure bike you can definitely to this bike. And its maintenance is also very cheap from other superbikes.5. ConsSome vibrations also come in this bike and the gears issue also can be felt.

The buying experience is good and the riding experience is also good. This is a good tourer machine with look and performance is also good service and maintenance are decent. All are the pros but only the price is not justified, The price is too high and the service network is very weak.Suzuki increased his service network and price is not an issue.
