Reality of maestro edge.

Raman
This bike has a good engine, battery. In last 2 years i had to use kick and choke only few times. But i am slightly disappointed with its mileage in city it is less than 25 km/ litre and in bypass or long route it is 30km/ litre. Maestro edge gives a stylish look if compared to other scooters available in market.

I bought Maestro Edge 110 in 2022 on my birthday and got it hand to hand from the showroom with no problem, also EMI process was very smooth. Riding it 15 - 20 KM almost every day, and really I have faced no issues while driving, but yaa you have to provide your soulmate time to time service, otherwise this scooty faces mechanical issues very quickly compared to Activa, Jupiter, etc. And I think the look of Maestro is very top-notch and muscular, has good body weight and aerodynamics, seating posture, and seat width are also perfect. Also, it carries a pretty powerful engine, I like its sound at top speed. Personally, the showroom from which I purchased it, their service center is very good and helpful, they even replaced one accessory free of cost : ) and the average cost I pay in service is around Rs 550 - 700( including engine oil and other little technical mechanic issues) Last but not least, If you are thinking of buying Maestro then go for it, just take care of services and maintenance.

Maestro review

Buying Experience was troublesome. The salesperson was trying to fool us by misleading stats.Although initially riding experience was comfortable, after 2-3 years there started a few issues. Recently it would stop in the middle of the road which is a very dangerous issue considering high speed traffic which may cause a lot of problems. We noticed this incident frequently and when enquired the service center is suggesting to replace the entire key section.Hence moving onto the servicing and maintenance part which was cheap initially for the first few years, but recently there were high charges for mostly replacements. To provide an estimate in the last 3 months alone it took a toll of around 4k to replace parts. The mileage is another issue with it. However high the salesperson may claim one will get around 30kmpl max.The looks and performance were otherwise good but considering the price point I would prefer to look for other options considering my not-so-good after-sales experience.

Worst bike and service center is shit

Worst bike ever i am from Haryana Faridabad and i am an idiot that I bought this and refused Jupiter. The service center is shit they will call you and when you will go they will say come next day. I have vehicles of other brands too and their service center people treat you like a god and here no one will listens to you. Don't waste your hard earn money here. And in the service center every one is illiterate they can make papers of your vehicle but they can't make bill of service. The yuva motors in my area is the worst service center. Don't waste your time and hard earned money here

Overall maestro is superb!! scooter.

First I would like to share its buying experience:- I bought it from supreme moter raja park. All staff member was very helpful. They brief me on all offers & features.About riding & handle is so nice & smooth. Awesome in cornering turn. Its look is a little bit fatty. It gives around 45+ km/l mileage. So it is quite good if we compared it to other scooters.Servicing is good, but not up to the mark. But its maintenance cost is low.I would like to say one thing about it carries the capacity. It can easily take a load of 3-4 persons. Usually, I compare it with isro pslv rocket. I didn't face any issue with it yet.Its weight is a little bit high. If you are physically weak. Don't buy it.Overall maestro is superb!! scooter.

Terrible experience regarding spare parts
2 years ago
Sanjay
I own maestro edge 125 Fi model purchased in 2019. 8 days ago I found the acceleration cable is broken, so I went to a local auto garage for replacing it. When he took that cable out from the scooter, he said the cable is broken in the middle from inside the plastic casing. That is a weird thing which has happened. Then he searched the cable compatible for that model in a showroom/service center & spare part market in a city in shirpur, but he didn't get there. Then he searched it in whole of dhule (Maharashtra) districts showrooms /service center of hero & local auto parts shop. Even there he couldn't get it.Then I took the vehicle to local authorized service center & asked for repairs. As the part was not available there they said to wait for atleast 8 to 10 days to do the repair work.To sum up here, don't buy this vehicle. Hero & their service centers are not competent & capable to give the services required.you can imagine for only an acceleration cable I had to wait for 15 to 20 days & experience harassment also.So don't buy.

Overall maestro is superb!! scooter.

Happy
