Who should consider yamaha r15?
Kapkai Suyang
I have owned this bike for almost a year now and I would say it's an excellent bike if you are committed to its riding posture. For many people, the Yamaha r15 is very uncomfortable but I would say it works perfectly as a sportbike and serves as one of the best in the segment even giving competition to bigger bikes like the KTM RC200. The manoeuvrability, stability, power, mileage, everything sits perfectly in a line. I would say, try it and see if it suits your style or not and if it does then congrats a perfect piece of machinery for you.

Yamaha is seriously making too good bikes but something happened after v3 r15, the new v4 is worth it, and the looks equal to performance idk, maybe yes maybe not at all, I compared it to the old v3 and found the old bs4 powered v3 is much better in case of performance. Though v4>v3 but younger brother is better. The other rivals idk why but were better in riding, riding is still stiff, and also the back seat is not comfortable at all. Speeding after 100 is possible but still had a doubt whether bought good or not.

I am facing issues, I don't know about others but the bike gets heated up too fast, I accept I am rash during rushing days but bought it for a college purpose and it's a bit disappointing. Service is pretty good but idk why it needs pretty more care. Please don't play with the bike or test it by taking too much pressure on different gears, try to drive it smoothly if you don't want regular check-ups experience speaks more than words.

No comparison, best of the best bike under 2.5 lakh, no comparison for a long tour, and no comparison for daily driving, I got 47 km mileage. Hi's specs are a bit expensive But it has a different Chris among the young generation, if you don't have a girlfriend, don't buy it, you will become a girlfriend within a month. This kind of fan is quite good, people will look at it once and see what happened In short, it's an unmatched Best Bike.

1. My buying experience is good I brought in 1month with full payment 2. Riding experience is good but aggressive riding position because is racing sport I check my bike for top speed after 1000km (run-in period) bike goes 147km/h 3. The looks are very beautiful like a superbike but the fit and finish are average 6/10 and the performance was impressive in 150cc category and very refined engine and reliability with excellent milage I got average [45kmpl] and batter smooth gear and clutch combination and dual-channel abs and powerful braking 4. Service is good because of wide service centers in India and the maintenance cost is low compared to other sportbike category cost is also reasonable at only 5. Pros (1) best-looking motorcycle (2) low maintenance (3) best milage (4) value for money with all we need electronics. (5) dual channel abs (6) quick shifter and traction control cons. (1) average fit and finish (2) halogen indicators that's all.

Beautiful motorcycle
Xiqo
This beautiful motorcycle is the one that got me hooked on the aspect of riding/motorcycling, the riding is committed but not as committed as the previous version (r15v3) and a bit more relaxed and forgiving to mistakes and sudden inputs. It is a great motorcycle to carve twisties and valleys since the stiff sporty suspension provides flickability and attacking corners with a safe and forgiving pace. The bike has a beautiful and well-made front upside-down golden KYB suspension that provides excellent handling for beginners. The only cons I've found so far are the small power loss from a previous version that is noticeable only if you really look into it and the traction control cutting power to the rear wheel sometimes when you need it the most (not really an issue as you can turn it off anytime but the thing is you have to turn it off every time you put the key in the ignition as the TCS resets and defaults at on every time you turn it off).

But this is a premium 150cc bike (costlier 150cc in India) , so obviously yamaha should provide more quality materials. Lights - though looks sexy, they are not great but not bad either

Tips for other riders
the Yamaha Y-Connect causes battery drain issues for some of the motorcycle, personally i've never had such issues.

Maintain tyre Pressure, don’t touch red line in 2 gear. After 4000 km change engine oil, and don’t park your bike in sunlight otherwise bike colour can be faded.

I'm not buying.. But I travel this bike.. Very comfortable for riding.. Look is awesome, performance is wonderful.. I love this bike..Overall fit and finish is good. But this is a premium 150cc bike (costlier 150cc in India) , so obviously yamaha should provide more quality materials. Lights - though looks sexy, they are not great but not bad either
