Hi there, today I am here to tell you all my detailed experience of owning a R15 V4
1 : The buying experience of this bike was decent enough i got the bike delivered within a week after booking the showroom staff was polite and co-operative
2 : When it comes to riding pleasure no other brand can match Yamaha you will definitely feel it when you will ride it the amount of refinement I am getting from this 155cc vva equipped engine is absolutely phenomenal you can cruise in 35-40 in 6th gear without any knocking from the gearbox the response of the throttle in the mid and high range is just wow i mean you will not believe that it's a 155cc motor after 7400 rpm when the vva kicks in before tha vva i will say that this bike will feel a bit underpowered with a pillion but if you are one who enjoys to ride solo you will definitely love it
3 : Talking about the looks it is the main highlight of the bike i have the dark knight variant and Yamaha has nailed it in the terms of design it resembles the mighty R7 and the eyeballs on the road it gets is outstanding in every traffic signal you will find someone asking about the mileage of the bike i am getting 40-45 kmpl in city and 45-50 in highways which is an icing over the cake considering the power of this bike the performance of this engine this bike wants to be in the higher rpms i have touched 153 kmph on an open expressway with heavy windblast if you ride with pillion very occasionally than you will feel the initial lag otherwise if you are like me who loves to ride solo would definitely love it the posture the rearset footpegs adds to adrenaline and will urge you to clock triple digit speed now let's talk about the most important thing which is pricing when this bike was launched the black colour was available at the price of 1.98 lakh on road lucknow and M variant was at 2.10 lakh but the situation is completely changed now every variant has got an hike of 15 thousand within a year of it's launch the fully lcd instrument cluster is yet filled with a ton of information and the rpm lights on the top add to it's futuristic design traction control is not such needed in a 155cc bike but it is a good safety feature which can save you sometimes the quickshifter is not available in dark knight variant but you can get it installed as an accessory for 6k as i did the quickshifter works buttery smooth once you cross 4000 rpm you can take the feel of it
4 : I purchased this bike 7 months ago and have ridden 9500 km till now and my 4th and last free service is remaining which will take place in 10000 km the service cost is pocket friendly not really expensive considering the segment the charges of the free services will range from 800-1200 depending on the parts you are getting changed and the oil you are using i am personally using the rsgp4 yamaha factory racing oil which is made in japan and oil itself costs around 1200 bucks but it is worth if you are going for the black colour it will require a lot of maintenance the dust gets attracted easily so it requires a lot of regular washing and cleaning with microfiber cloth it is advisable to get a ppf lamination as soon you take that bike from the showroom it will protect the paint of the bike and will prevent major and minor scratches too
    5. So the pros are
    Super eye catchy look
    Powerful 155cc vva engine
    Gives good mileage
    Topnotch refinement
    Now talking about the cons
    Slightly overpriced
The build quality of the grabrails needs to be improved
That's it hope you all liked my review I wrote what I experienced till now thank you for reading and giving your valuable time :)

R15 v4 is a wonderful bike and has a raw power which is comparable to 200cc bike but its build quality is very cheap my grab rail is broken left side which cost rs 1800, and it's superb for long rides when you wear safety gears like gloves it doesn't make your hand pain, riders can manage the long ride but for a pillion, the seat is not comfortable pillion seat is 1 star rated, there is a defect in radiator fan, I am owning r15 m, after 2nd service my bike radiator is not working temperature rises to 120 degrees so I gave service and I claimed under warranty. Rust issues are there but just apply lube in that area before rusting and mileage 50 to 55 if you maintain the speed under 96 without activating vva.

Hi All, 1. I was RE lover for the last 10 years and I was riding RE ELECTRA and RE SIGNALS, the main reason to choose this R15M 60th Anniversary Edison bike is because of Its looks and confidence to ride. 2. I am giving honest feedback on R15M 60th anniversary edition which was purchased 3 months back. 3. It has a very good road grip and we can feel more confident all the time.4. I am using daily 40 kms riding. 5. In the beginning was finding wrist pain but now I learned how to handle this bike and I am feeling the pain because of the joy of riding this bike. 6. also did a traffic mileage check and it gives forty-three to forty-eight kms per liter.7. Very good part of this bike is Traction Control where in we can easily drive eighty to hundred kmph speed when even wet or raining. 8. Very good Breaking system when Traction Control is on. 9. Awsome-looking bike at this price range. 10. I suggest this bike only for single, not for family.

Yamaha is seriously making too good bikes but something happened after v3 r15, the new v4 is worth it, and the looks equal to performance idk, maybe yes maybe not at all, I compared it to the old v3 and found the old bs4 powered v3 is much better in case of performance. Though v4>v3 but younger brother is better. The other rivals idk why but were better in riding, riding is still stiff, and also the back seat is not comfortable at all. Speeding after 100 is possible but still had a doubt whether bought good or not.

I bought R15 v4 Racing Blue from Kasaragod, Kerala on April 2022. The buying experience was a little bouncy, with poor customer service & lack of vehicle assistance (dealer-specific issue).
Initial days after the delivery, I had a little bit of wrist and neck pain which subsides later on. The looks and performance are fabulous as usual. By the way, I am 5"11 and did not face back pain issues so far.
Completed the first service, the second service is due this weekend. When it comes to maintenance, there is nothing to bother about except chain cleaning and lube which requires a paddock stand, or a paddock roller if low on budget.
I have completed two long road trips of 720 km each (to native and to Chennai from Bangalore). I did not feel any kind of tiredness on highways. Achieved a top speed of 140 kmph with ease, stability is good and MRF tires offer good grip except on steep corners while cornering. I always get a highway mileage of 50 kmpl (full tank to full tank) & on city 47-49 kmpl.
    Pros:
    - Best fuel economy in the 150 cc segment
    - Being of Japanese origin, reliability cannot be questioned
    - Less service center visits (given periodic maintenance is done)
    - Eye catchy machine when in traffic and has got a good road presence
    - App connectivity
    Cons:
    - City commute on back-to-back traffic gets a little worse, even if it is for shorter distance
    - Quality of parts is compromised, I got rust issues in the chassis and front disc
    - The pillion grabrail is weak, and prone to breakage if not taken care of while getting on/off the vehicle
    - On-road price turns out a lot
Overall, for the price & the brand image, this is the best beginner-level bike, at least in my case.

I was looking at a sporty/good-looking bike for daily use and occasional short trips without any budget or engine capacity filters. I considered kawasaki ninja 300, tvs apache rr310, suzuki gixxer sf 250, re meteor, re scram 411 and yamaha mt15 before narrowing down on the r15m motogp 60th anniversary edition. I personally like the looks of my bike (the white-red combination is amazing) the best among all the bikes considered. The handling, performance, mileage, and build quality are top notch and I doubt if there is another bike that delivers punchy performance with such an excellent mileage. Other than the aggressive ride posture, the absence of sturdy rear grab rails to assist while parking in constricted spaces is a con. While the r15 is well-known for delivering great performance even beating higher capacity rivals, the v4/m version has taken a step ahead by introducing best-in-segment features like Bluetooth connectivity, dual-channel abs, quick shifter, TCS, foldable mirrors etc, while also returning an impeccable 50-55kmpl mileage which is mind-boggling. How yamaha has achieved this is a mystery - but as a rider, I'm not complaining! the maintenance is reasonable as well and the after-sales service is good - try to make friendly connections with the service center for a better experience.
Pro-tip - for the first 1000kms, ride the bike under 80-100 which will help refine the engine and, reap longevity, performance and mileage.

The bike was awesome I saw so many reviews but I didn't care that the negative opinions about me this was awesome it was my dream to buy a sports bike finally Yamaha gave me a superb bike V4 under 2 lakhs this is the best to buy. Someone told me when you are riding you will get back pains and shoulder pains but I didn't see the pains. The looks are awesome, especially the DRL lights looking like a beast and the main Light performance was great and awesome.
