  • Mt 15 V2 Review

Sure, let's first talk about the driving experience. The Yamaha mt 15 v2 is an incredibly fun bike to ride. It has a sporty look and feels, and the handling is very responsive. It's also very nimble, making it easy to manoeuvre in traffic or around tight corners. The suspension is well-tuned and provides a comfortable ride, even on bumpy roads. Now, let's talk about mileage. The Yamaha mt 15 v2 has a mileage of around 40-45 km/l, depending on your riding style and road conditions. This is fairly decent for a bike with a 155cc engine.

That was an amazing experience with the Bike! the buying experience was too good along with the riding experience and the looks were marvelous, The servicing was too good too and the back seat was too little to sit on, and that was my only con! go and buy it with no more second thoughts and you would love to have it and enjoy it.

Best in 2L budget who is looking for a naked bike with beautiful looks. You can turn your bike easily on the roads. In speed, you will experience the goddamn riding. I have changed to Yamaha MT15 V2 from Yamaha FZ black bumper. Totally different riding experience. Mileage is also good for middle-class boys. It gives upto 45-50 kmpl. If your budget is nearly 2L just go for it...

This is a very good-looking bike. Everything is good on this bike but only the comfort is best otherwise, you can go for this bike. Riding this bike was an excellent experience, seating gives more comfort when riding, the gear shift was quite good and the speed pickup was excellent. Will give a sports bike experience.

Price - 2.09 lakh (base variant - full black - dual channel ABS, traction control, no bluetooth, no led indicators)
    Pros:
    - Best front looks (DRL, projector headlight, golden USD)
    - Very good mileage (biggest advantage)
    - Good handling
    - Good power for a 150 cc
    - Upright seating posture
    - Dual channel ABS (very useful in rain)
    - Traction control (only useful in mud/sand)
    - Very less heating
    Cons:
    - Very poor headlight visibility (biggest disadvantage)
    - Stiff suspension (comfortable only in highways/good roads)
    - Uncomfortable pillion seat
    - Non practical grab rail
    - Ugly looking tail tidy (mud can still splash even with this)
    - Parts quality are not good (brake lever bend after taking a fall, chain and front disk rusted in rain)
    Notes:
    - VVA will be activated after 7k rpm, before that it will run like a normal 150 cc bike.
    - Keeping rpm below 7k will definitely give 50+ kmpl. I was getting 50-52 kmpl before my 1st service
    itself.
    - Avoid riding in pitch dark condition, you won't see pot holes coming. High beam is also useless since it
will be shooting light to the trees.

I bought this bike one and a half years back, I completed around 14k km. My experience with mt15 single channel abs, is one of the best bikes you can buy in this segment, it was a complete package for this price, offers good mileage, performance and the overall performance of bike is stunning, for city riding it is very easy to handle this bike, lightweight and easy to manage in heavy traffic condition, my vehicle offers 55-58kmpl of milege overall. In heavy traffic conditions it will give around 48-50kmpl, highway u can get around 55-58kmpl at the speed limit of 80-90kmph. For highways 85-90kmph is best to cruise, the engine sweet spot is this speed limit only. U will get a great riding experience on this speed limit, I am using this for daily purposes. Am satisfied with the performance and milege it offers. Engine reliability is the best in the market, and braking is good. But dual channels should be better.
About service: very worst service ever from yamaha. Every time when I give service they return the bike with any scratch. Not even giving a proper response. If you want to service your vehicle pls give it to a good service center..

Change oil after every 4000km, clean and lube ur chain after every 500km, Clean ur bike monthly once to make it look perfect always, don't do a harsh ride before the first service, Drive the bike below 6000rpm upto first 5k km, it will give more milege and engine reliability will be good. Do service the vehicle periodically which helps to get a smooth riding experience. Always maintain proper tyre pressure to get better milege, for highway ride 80-90kmph speed u can get good milege around 55-58kmpl.

Bought the bike in the first lot of the v2 mt-15, about 2 weeks after launch.
Got the bike in a week without paying any "on"
Thane showroom's sales advisor - laxman is a gem!
Usd forks are butter smooth. With a pillion it's a bit stiffer, though riding 90% of the time solo, it isn't much of bothering to me.
The bike is super light, and extremely flickable filtering through city traffic, with barely any crosswind shear.
Surprisingly the headlight projector is better than the r15v4's setup.
The city runs and highway runs are easy. Perhaps the addition of fog lights would help in rain.
The service cost was ₹1000 all-inclusive - value for money!
I just wish a rear abs unit was given, a true confidence booster in the rains.
The tyres are good on mild wet roads, and awesome in dry.
Haven't had a single fishtail till date under hard braking either.
The sweet spot for economy riders would be 6th gear at 80-85 (highway 50km/l+ guaranteed)
    I love the bike otherwise...
Cons wise I'd only complain about not having rear abs and perhaps better auxiliary illumination or perhaps another projector unit.

  • Mt 15 V2 Review

    Aditya

The bike is over all great I use it on daily basis and found it that this bike is good at performance but sometimes it disappoints also like sometimes battery issues and seat quality is not very good but ok ok feeling and looks are just amazing I will prefer to buy in this cost and yes in metallic black.

    Tips for other riders
