Style too impressive, irresistible.

Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox very good, my bike gives 65+ on road, even in the city limits, smooth gear shift, & no oil leakage unlike many reviewers. Also has very good pick up in all gears. Its very handy in overtaking in city limits.

Ride quality & handling best, best seating position.

Final words soooper bike, worth every rupee of money spent.

Areas of improvement could have increased power of engine.

before buying this bike, i took many opinions but as i am riding since last 3 months, i got perfect mileage of 63.9 Kmpl.

Yeah its fact that its gear shifting is somewhat hard!

ride quality & handling

due to its muscular tyres, its grip on road is so much impressive. Its pick up is very nicely felt after 3rd gear. As more kms we ride, its getting more smoother.

finally its a good value for money 150cc bike

areas of improvement

digital petrol indicator is not so much user convenient and tachometer is missing. Odometer is also analog!

look guys, i've been playing with bikes since i was 7 years old back in the middle east. I've just fitted a new back sprocket and replaced the orignal 42 teeth one with a 39 teeth one and now my v15 does a cool 80 km per hour without the strain on the engine it had before and if i push it now, it clocks 110 km!!!!! and before i couldn't get it to go over 90 :(

if you waant, i can send you one, just change it and shorten your chain with a few links and voila!! it will lose a tiny little fraction on the pick up but the drive is now lovely and smooth as the engine doesn't strain.

Areas of improvement

needs a better engine, gear, sprocket ratio straight out of the showroom.

What are you looking for?

a mileage bike? then go for splendor, saluto or any other 100-125cc bike.

A stylish and speedy bike? then go for fz, pulsar, gixxer etc.

Bajaj v15 is the intermediate between mileage and style.

Even though it has 5 gears, the 5th gear behaves like 4th gear (or 4.5Th).

Maximum speed you can achieve without vibrations is 55kmph.

Why i bought this bike?

1) i don't need a good speed. Even if you give me duke 390, my average speed would be 45kmph.

2) I wanted good mileage. May be above 60 kmpl. But if i can get a good looking bike which gives 50-55kmpl, i would go for it.

3) Looks are better than splendor/passion/saluto etc even though performance is almost the same. So by spending rs. 5000-10000 Extra, if i can get a good looking bike, i would go for it.

4) Parts of bajaj bikes are cheaper. So many people advised me to go for bajaj. But i've also heard that maintenance issues occur frequently in bajaj bikes. (Didn't experience yet).

5) On road cost in goa in august 2016 was around 72k which i could afford.

So if you are not a speedster and want a good looking bike with intermediate mileage, go for v15. Otherwise go for any other bike depending on your needs.
