I'm writing this review after riding this bike for 1year and 2 months and 9k km covered so this is the genuine true review of my pulsar n160 review. Before buying this bike I have zero experience in bike so this is a beginner friendly bike, when I got the bike and ride the first 100km bike engine sound was different because I don't have 0 knowledge about bike i suddenly went to the nearest service centre and the guy said it's just a normal sound for the bike and it will change automatically but I didn't think it's normal so checked on YouTube and find its tappet sound after 1k km i went to the same service center for this issue and I approached as a complaint they said go to the another service center they suggested there so I went there and the service center was amazing. Because of the warrenty not a single money was deducted from me, and the next part is after the issue I got another issue like bike turning off in second gear after pulling the clutch and I again go to the showroom and got repaired under warranty the service team was nice.. and my journey begins. The bike was amazing when riding I don't want to get off the bike it's super comfort and giving mileage of 47+ in city and in highway 50+ so it was amazing. I can ride very comfortable at 75 or 80+kmph without any vibrations, I have done all three services and the service cost is around 1.4k I change oil and oil filter in every service also done pre service evrything, when I reached 8k km I got a puncture in my bike rear wheel and I got repaired in a local workshop which costs 100rs . The only lack of thing I missing in this bike is the meter console with some more features they can provide TFT. This bike has a navigation but that's not accurate. Bike has 3 modes rain road and off-road.i chain lube this bike every 700km I'm using the oks chain lube that's the lube for bajaj bikes they use and this lube lasts very long. If I do chain lube in service centre they charge 245+ so doing that in your home is cheap. So that's my experience in the last one year. You can go for it blindly i purchased this bike for 1.80 on road in kerala. #pulsar.#n160#pulsar definitely male

My n160 is 3 months old and has an annoying issue. It makes sounds while driving and no driving if I apply front brakes. Don't know whether the sound is from the front brakes/brake caliper or front suspension etc. The service center is not able to fix it . Service centers denied fixing saying it is normal. How can it be normal?

I have been riding this Machine for the last 8 months and believe me this is the best machine in the 160cc segment. I am getting 48-53 mileage with 60-80 speed.Service charges are also nominal and riding posture is not aggressive. You can easily ride for 2-3 hours continuously without any body pain less vibration as compared to NS.

Best bike I ride, just recently I purchased Pulsar N160. It was a great machine to talk or ride to adventure and monster look. Headlight is superb and has good looks. It's rain, road or off-road mode is better than others bikes. Mileage is good and top speed of mine is 125 km/pl. Cornering is also good. Nice bike I have. Thank you Bajaj.

The perfect city allrounder

I was planning to upgrade my bike to a better-looking sports bike/city bike that can perform well in the city. I have tested multiple city bikes including apache rtr 1604v, hero extreme 160 r & few more. Now once I rode this bike which looked striking from the front & it was looking exactly like n250 it feels like you are riding a bigger 250 plus cc bike. It has some practical segment first feature like dual channel abs in the price segment is just amazing within the price bracket. No other manufacturer has dual channel abs in this segment. This is not just a pulsar it's a most refined new gen pulsar.Gear shifting is pretty smooth. You can ride in any gear at almost any speed which makes it a perfect city bike. when I was riding I didn't realize which gear I am riding. Picking up from 35-40 speed to 60-70 in higher gear was an easy task. No negative response from the bike. It's a perfect city sports bike that can ride daily. Positives:- Built quality -fit and finish quality is betterService-friendly bike -oil indicator and many other useful features Cost-effective Looks exactly look like n250 37mm telescopic forkBetter tyre size -best on segmentNegative --speedometer (bluetooth)Riding modes -n/aOverall it's a dashing-looking relaxed city bike that makes you happy every time you sit on it.

Hello Friends, I am going to give a detailed ride review of Pulsar N160 bike. The review will cover all the important aspects you need to know before buying this bike...1.Design & Looks:- The Bajaj Pulsar N160's design is of a sporty looking bike which will certainly catch people's attention. It will give you sporty feel while riding.2.Engine:- The bike is powered by a two-valve engine which is quite punchy and sporty. You will enjoy riding this bike due to its adequate & quite thrilling power and ride quality. When you twist the throttle the response from the engine is very good. The pick-up is good. The engine is refined and smooth with slick gear shifting and light clutch. The low and mid-range torque is very good. The bike is good for long rides.3.Suspension:-The suspension set-up of this bike offers good comfort. At front you get USD forks which absorb the bumps quite smoothly. The rear suspension is a bit harder compared to front, but it helps in the stability of the bike.4.Seating Comfort:- The seating comfort is good. The position of the rider is a bit upright, offering a sporty feel. Tank is quite big.The pillion seat is not soft but does the job.5.Braking:- The braking of this bike is phenomenal. The company has provided the bike with dual-channel ABS helping in panic braking. It prevents locking of wheel and risk of skidding. The front brake disc size is 300mm in diameter which is more than sufficient for a 160cc bike. The front brake bite is very good while the rear brake is progressive but good enough to efficiently slow down the bike.6.Vibrations:- The vibrations are well managed on this bike. You can easily cruise at 70-80 km/h on highways without much vibrations. The minor vibrations can be felt above 70 on foot pegs and tank but it is not a big problem.7.Ground Clearance:- The ground clearance of the bike is sufficient for Indian roads and cities. As the exhaust is underbelly there lies the risk of it touching the ground on big speed breaker when riding with pillion. But overall ground clearance is good.8.Exhaust Sound:- The exhaust sound of this bike is so basy and sporty. It will certainly turn heads on roads when you ride in high rpm. Also at idle it sounds very sporty.9.Conclusion:- I will say this is one of the best 160cc bike in the Indian market right now if not the best. If you are updating from 100-125cc commuter segment then this bike is for you. Beginners with little bit of experience can also ride this bike comfortably. It has enough power for Indian roads & highways. It might give you decent mileage around 45-60 km/l depending on your riding style. So that is all from my ride review, hope it helps you to find your perfect ride.

Inspect tires for wear and tear. Replace if tread depth is below the recommended limit. Brakes: Check brake pads for wear. Replace if they're too thin. Ensure brake fluid is at the correct level and replace it as recommended by the manufacturer. Battery: Check the battery terminals for corrosion. Clean and apply petroleum jelly to prevent corrosion. Ensure the battery is fully charged, especially if you don't ride the bike daily. Drive Chain Maintenance: Regularly clean and lubricate the drive chain. Check for correct tension and adjust as necessary. Regular Service: Stick to the recommended service intervals. Timely servicing ensures the bike's longevity and performance. Lights and Indicators: Regularly check all lights and indicators. Replace any blown bulbs immediately. Coolant Level: If your model is liquid-cooled, ensure the coolant is at the correct level and replace as per the manufacturer's recommendation. Use Genuine Parts: Always use genuine Bajaj parts for replacements. This ensures compatibility, performance, and longevity. Storage: If you're not using the bike for extended periods, store it in a dry place and cover it to protect from dust and moisture. Ride Regularly: Bikes are meant to be ridden. Regular rides, even short ones, can prevent issues related to prolonged idleness like a drained battery or seized engine parts.
