The Ferrato Disruptor is Okaya’s first electric motorcycle under its new EV brand. It was launched to cater to a market that wants a sporty, aggressive, and practical EV.
It is powered by a 6.37kW peak motor that produces 228Nm of torque, has a claimed top speed of 95kmph, and delivers a claimed range of up to 129km on a full charge. The 3.97kWh removable battery takes about five hours to fully charge, which is quite decent.
The bike comes equipped with LED lighting, digital display with smartphone connectivity, three ride modes (Eco, City, and Sports), and dual-channel ABS for safety. The overall quality of the cycle parts is basic, and the brand doesn't really have a big reach in India.

The decision to buy the Ferrato Disruptor (priced around ₹1.55 Lakh ex-showroom) was driven by its aggressive, petrol-bike-like styling. However, the buying experience itself was a mix of excitement and challenge.Showroom & Test Ride: The main hurdle was the relatively small and still-developing dealer network (Ferrato). Unlike established brands, the showrooms were sometimes sparse, and the staff, while enthusiastic, occasionally lacked deep technical knowledge about the EV architecture. The test ride was impressive, though—the instant torque is addictive, making the bike feel fast off the line, especially in Sport Mode. The transition from a petrol bike to the Disruptor is seamless, thanks to the linear, clutch-less power delivery.Acceleration: The instant torque (peaking around 228 Nm) is fantastic for city commuting. Traffic light sprints are thrilling, easily leaving traditional commuters behind. It’s smooth and silent, offering a unique sensation.Top Speed: The 95 km/h top speed is sufficient for city and short highway runs, but it does leave you wanting more during sustained high-speed cruising, as acceleration tapers off quickly after 80 km/h.Riding Modes:Eco: Best for maximizing range; feels dull but reliable.City: The perfect balance for daily commutes.Sport: Full power, highly responsive, but drains the battery much faster.
