Bike purchased on july 2017.Distance covered : 14000 kmI will be talking only about my bad experience part. 1 . I have ridden the bike for only 14000km (2000km on highway-100+speed) and the chain sprocket is already gone.2. Since 12500kms my engine has been making some weird sound like some screw or something, no increase in vibration though. The service center kept my bike for 10 days saying some part in engine is the issue and they are waiting for the spare and i wont be charged since engine is under warranty. Then they replace the clutch plates and clutch wire and charge me for the same and give me back the bike. Also for this i had raised a complaint with tvs, every-time i call tvs customer care, they say i will get a call from their technical team, its now more than a month and i am still waiting for it.

Have problem in rear disc and gear box in my new apache 200 race edition 2.0 and i have complain about 8 to 10 times in company i have taken my bike to service centre more than 8 times in 3 months but they are not able to solve my problem worst service provided by tvs . I wish i should buy bajaj bike i have dominar 2019 and its awesome and service they provide is very good i buy apache for daily rides i must buy ns 200 instead of this because of there poor service.

Good bike for daily use. But abs is not good. This bike abs not work off road. Bike engine oil is bad quality. Tvs apache 200 4v mileage good. Bike exhaust so bad. Engine noise problem. Engine not smooth. Riding position is good. Rtr200 power good. I love this bike throttle response. My bike top speed is 144 kmh. But my friend rtr2004v top speed 150.

buying this bike is pretty simple i got it on the same day of ordering it
riding experience is the best for low speed cruising to high speed racing everything is on point for this bike
looks and exhaust are the only reason i bought this bike and performance is the best in 200cc segment
do not worry about services after a year engine is good enough to handle everything but regular checkups are recommend
the only con i found in this is its turning radius is very less in in a tight parking spot then u will feel otherwise in riding it doesn't matter
not good for riding with family
long distance rides for max 3 hrs after that engine also need some rest and the rider as well.
on the whole 4out of 5 from my 2yrs experience

Tvs apache rtr 200cc 4v is the best bike for daily use. This bike have best mileage with powerful engine. With cutest look. With awesome abs system .I love bike seat also . This bike only for two riders. I want this bike ride with my girl friend . Prices of this bike is awesome, i will purchase this bike with in month i love this bike.

I've owned a matte red rtr 200 since january 2017 and have done 10000+ kms on the bike. Pros 1. Excellent handling- the bike is very easy to handle even at high speeds. Throw in a little bit of counter steering and you can easily dodge potholes at 100kmph. 2. Road presence - it definitely catches attention with it looks. The default exhaust note is loud and bassy enough to declare its presence.3. Rtr - typical rtr acceleration, matched to the engine displacement. The throttle latency is very low.4. The console - shows time, highest speed recorder, rpm monitor, gear indicator. Doesn't matter how good of a rider you are, every once a while the gear indicator proves it's importance. Cons 1. Suspension- front suspension oil seal is weak and cracked, sometime between 1-2nd service. Got it replaced and it has been running fine ever since.2. Gear - gear shifts don't feel premium at all. It sometimes feel like you:re changing gears of a tractor and feels rough.3. Headlamp-the stock headlamp is fine but definitely not something you would want to travel with at 100.4.Service- I've had a bad experience with trijal tvs service center. However the problem is not with tvs but that particular dealer. Overall could reach a top speed of 130kmph and heard people even reach 150kmph on this bike with a little tuning on the carburetor. It has a less powerful but more refined engine as compared to ns200. Also i feel the look and feel of this bike is better than all other 200cc bikes at this price.Mileage city- i live in bangalore with worst traffic conditions and get 32-33kmpl. Mileage highway-on highways i could get around 37kmpl while riding alone and 30kmpl while riding with a pillion.Engine oil- you can consider tvs fully synthetic 10w30 but don't expect more than 3500kms from this engine oil.You can pull easy 5000kms on shell fully synthetic 10w40. Some tips: (if you love your bike as much as i do)1. Make sure you let the engine oil circulate during the first start. Let the bike stay on at neutral for the first 3-5 mins whenever you turn your bike on after a 7-8 hours break.2. Use a chain lubricant every 400-800kms and also keep a check on the chain slack.3. Get your bike washed regularly to avoid mud in your discs.4. If you are going to ride it for long, make sure to keep the engine rpm low by adjusting the gear.5. Make sure the tyre pressure is matched to the numbers provided by the manufacturer and not the local service guy.That's all folks!!

I almost done 5000 km on it and i never face any issue.The bike looks comfortable and easy to handle in traffic. Thanks to slippery clutch it's easy to change gears and because duel channel abs you feel safe when you are at high speed.Please go for this bike if you are looking in 200cc segment.

Got my bike on 4th july after all paper works has been done. Drove my bike home and i was just amazed with the performance from the day 1. During high speed also the tuning is so smooth that it does not worry you a little. Looks muscular and body graphics is awesome. Tvs servicing is available 24 hrs at solar tvs bangalore. Overall superb experience with this bike. Drive it to feel it.
