Honda has introduced the 2018 edition of its most affordable Activa, the Activa-i. The 2018 model gets new colours and some cosmetic enhancements.

Honda has launched the 2017 Activa-i at Rs 47,913 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Targeted at a female audience, the Activa-i has been updated with a BS IV-compliant engine, auto headlamp on (AHO) and new dual-tone paint schemes. 

Honda and Yamaha have announced that they will explore the possibility of jointly developing scooters for the Japanese market. These scooters will be of the Class 1 variety, meaning that they will be limited to 50cc, but it is certainly an intriguing development.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has released a refreshed Activa-i for 2016. Now available in three new colours, this model will represent Honda’s seventh new model in 2016. 

Honda is sure about their aim of having a volume of 20 million two-wheelers by 2020. The manufacturer also says that the Indian market will be at the top with a share of 7-8 million units.

The Honda Activa has crossed the one million sales milestone, in just five months of this fiscal year 2015-16. The milestone shows the huge demand for the product.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) plans to ramp up the production of the Activa owing to its huge demand. The scooter has met the sales target of the company and in fact, now it is grappling with excess demand.

Honda has launched the Activa-i in India at Rs 46,213 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Activa-i is available in two variants – Standard and Deluxe, of which the latter is priced at Rs 46,703 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India announced their sales report for December 2014 amd it shows an 18 per cent incline in sales. The company sold 3,48,737 units last month as compared to 2,96,243 units sold in the same month in 2013.
