    I'm facing starting problem every day morning. If the vehicle is not used continuously for 2 days then it doesn't start easily in spite of using choke. I will have to push the vehicle for atleast half kilometer and use kick start to start the vehicle.I contacted the dealer regarding the same and they have no clue about this problem. I got reply that this kind of problem is happening because of new bs norms. It seems many customers are having the same problem and they asked me adjust with the problem as there is no solution to it. Please don't buy honda vehicle and make your life hell!!!!!

    The worst experience as its needs to kick start every alternate day. The bike is purchased on 15th oct 2017. It has been less then a year. Not at all happy with the bike. The starter does not work if bike not used for even 1 day. This was never a problem in earlier bikes. They have tried to over engineer it and made up a mess of a very good brand. I may finally sell the bike and use my 8 years old deo which still works fine. Frustrated with 5g. If any honda people review this please let us know what should we do to resolve this.

    If you are going to buy this scooter because of the trust and build quality of Honda then please Don't! Activa lost its built quality from 4g models. I saw rust on my scooty within a year, the engine sound changed and I could hear valve noises, the pickup was very bad, struggles to start in morning and not that great mileage. The servicing was done on time with timely oil change. After complaining to showroom they did not help There are many other companies providing better vehicles at good price range.

    Hi,We have purchased this product on april 09th 2018. We trusted the brand honda and activa as such for its branding and popularity, but it didn't even took a month for us to be highly disappointed and all our hopes with the product getting shattered. Within no time we realised that the self start does not work and it takes almost 8-10 times a try to get it started. Our hopes with the product further came down when we learnt the "self-start" doesn't work even with the "choke" on.We visited the showroom to get our complaint registered. But the service guy didn't disappoint us and we got the expected reply "you should always give a kick start to get your scooty started every morning". On further argument he reduced the "rpm" and told us to take the scooty and said issue is fixed..I was knowing that we are being fooled but that's the only choice we "the mango people" have. Following day we faced the same issue and we raised a complain online and it looked people are coming in action. Received few calls, was asked to hand over the vehicle immediately (all these was happening even before giving for first service). We handed over the scooty and next day they called n said the vehicle is working fine, on enquiry first the person said he kick started the vehicle and later he said he did a self-start and it worked. We reached the showroom and after exchanging few arguments, i told them i will come with a video tomorrow. They insisted and said they will keep for one more day ( we realised we were being fooled again). Next day we collected the scooty and as expected the scooty started on the first self itself everything was like a magic. The showroom guys sometimes say they have fixed the "rpm" issue, they sometimes say they have not made any changes.We took back our investment and the vehicle used to start after one or two self attempts but with "choke on", i was told choke should be the last option to get your bike started but this became a daily routine..We gave our first servicing then also we told the operator about the issue and got back the standard reply "kick start it" or "keep it started for 5 mins daily".. Really a brand new product someone trying to kick start daily..Is seriously so humiliating. Today i.E. 17th may 2018 we thought of going for a morning ride and we tried to start the scooty it did not responded on the first and second attempt. With the choke "on" it started on the 11th attempt..We got really furious and realised that the product is faulty, we are going through a mental trauma as we have put so much savings to buy this vehicle. We have raised the complaint again and honda guys are expected to pick up the product from our premises as we refused to take it to showroom.I am not sure if this will help, but if the new generation of activa is really faulty then the company should recall the product from the market. I could sense "honda's" image in the eyes of the people.Any suggestions on what i should next will be very helpful.Thanks
