My experience with the new Scooty Pep Plus has been truly delightful and comfortable. From the moment I purchased it, I felt confident that I had made the right choice for my daily commuting needs. The scooty is lightweight, easy to handle, and perfect for office travel as well as short city rides. One of the first things I noticed was how smoothly it rides. The acceleration is gentle, the engine is refined, and the overall ride quality is very comfortable—even on uneven roads. The Scooty Pep Plus is designed for effortless mobility, making it ideal for quick trips and traffic-filled routes. The compact size is another major advantage. It is extremely easy to park, even in tight spaces, and navigating through traffic becomes much simpler. The mileage is impressive as well, which helps in saving fuel and reducing daily travel expenses. For someone who uses a two-wheeler regularly, this is a big benefit.

It is a great scooter with great mileage and perfect for students, and is easy to handle and a 10/10 Scooter. I am totally amazed by how it is to handle. My friend suggested it to me and I have absolutely no regrets buying it. You should get one too. The best one I've owned so far.

Performance:The scooty offers smooth acceleration and handles well in traffic. Its engine performance is adequate for urban roads, and it maintains stability even at slightly higher speeds. However, it's not built for rough terrains or long-distance rides.Mileage:One of the standout features is its fuel efficiency. I’ve been getting around 30 km/l, which is quite economical for daily use. It helps reduce running costs significantly

Performance and handlingThe BS4 Scooty Pep Plus is equipped with an 87.8 cc, air-cooled engine that delivers around 5 bhp of power and 6 Nm of torque. This provides sufficient power for navigating city traffic with frequent stops and starts. Its lightweight frame (approximately 95 kg) and small dimensions make it easy to manoeuvre in traffic and park in tight spaces. The telescopic front and mono coil spring rear suspension ensure a comfortable ride, even on slightly rough roads. However, due to its smaller engine, the scooter may struggle on inclines or at higher speeds on highways, especially with a pillion rider. Mileage and maintenanceThis scooter is known for its excellent fuel efficiency, making it an economical option to run. According to owner reports, it delivers an average mileage of around 50–55 km/L.The low maintenance cost is another major advantage. Regular servicing is affordable, making it a good choice for budget-conscious buyers. Pros and consPros:Lightweight and easy to handle, especially for women and beginners.Great fuel efficiency for city use.Low maintenance cost.Attractive colours and a simple design. Cons:Limited power, which can be an issue on highways and inclines. Some users have reported issues with cold starting and braking.Smaller under-seat storage space.Less comfortable for longer journeys. ConclusionOverall, the TVS Scooty Pep Plus (BS4) is a reliable and practical scooter for city commuting and short trips. Its lightweight design, great mileage, and low maintenance make it a solid option for those seeking an affordable and easy-to-ride vehicle. However, if you're looking for high speed or more power for highway riding, you might consider other options.

Very bad experience

Pep plus bs6 is a waste of money. I hardly ride it for 2000 km in one year. The chip inside needs a flashing every 2 months else the bike gives you trouble when riding. Stops when it feels like it and gives you jerks due to the inconsistent flow of petrol, thanks to a cheap injection fuel technology employed but TVS. We want everything cheap in life so we don't pay attention to quality. Anyway always give importance to quality, then even the producers will heed your requirements.

Worst bike to purchase
Uma Shankar
The worst bike ever, with no mileage and no quality at all, keeps on getting repaired and I need to spend money, not reliable at all. The worst experience keeps on getting punctured, not quality tires, and breaks are worst, always not working breaks, it's very risky to buy this scooter pep. Don't think about purchasing this bike.

TVS Scooty Pep Plus
Rifayameera
Bought a scooter Pep Plus in the year 2021 from a Rajapalayam dealer. Within a year, it gives lots of problems and struggles. Button start troubles, starting troubles, sudden rise hike, frequent off and so on I gifted this bike to my father who has aged at 67 years old. Now he is struggling a lot with the bike. Don't buy Scooty Pep Plus.

The bike started to give me trouble after my 3rd free service, the bike turning off automatically(still to this day), stopping on the road and I had to drag my bike to the showroom because some of the parts kept damaging and I had to change the parts every year, I use it like 3 years and service centre guys are also worst they didn't even care, and most importantly build quality is garbage and breaks are worst I don't recommend this scooty to anyone please don't buy it.

Please don't buy scooty.

Parikshit Khubba
This bike is not at all useful. Worst service, and less mileage. This bike doesn't have tubeless tires which I have not been told even though the company has not developed a rim for tubeless tyre. World's last bike ever. I don't believe in TVS at all going further. I feel cheated after buying this bike. Ladies will like this bike but maintenance time will be harder.
