Budget segment mein options bahut saare the, lekin test ride ke baad mujhe yeh scooter sabse zyada practical laga. Lucknow jaise sheher mein jahan paperwork mein kabhi kabhi time lagta hai, wahan mujhe delivery process kaafi fast mili.
​Riding Experience:
Lucknow ki bheed-bhaad wali sadkon, jaise Hazratganj aur Aminabad ke traffic mein, yeh scooter chalaana kaafi aasaan hai. Iska handling bahut halka hai, jiski wajah se traffic mein cuts lena easy ho jata hai. Seat kaafi comfortable hai, isliye agar aap Lucknow ki garmi mein thoda lamba safar bhi karte hain, toh thakawat kam hoti hai. Iski suspension quality bhi average hai, jo chhote-mote potholes (gaddhon) ko acche se handle kar leti hai.
​Performance & Looks:
Is budget mein iska engine performance kaafi impressive hai. Pick-up accha hai aur 50-60 kmph ki speed tak gaadi bilkul vibrate nahi karti. Looks ki baat karein toh yeh modern aur stylish lagta hai, jo youngsters aur elders dono ko suit karta hai. Iska mileage city traffic mein lagbhag 45-50 kmpl ke aas-paas nikal kar aata hai, jo aaj ke petrol prices ko dekhte hue kaafi sahi hai.
​Servicing & Maintenance:
Lucknow mein iske service centres har jagah mil jate hain, isliye maintenance ki koi tension nahi rehti. Pehli do-teen servicing kaafi sasti rahi aur parts ki availability bhi acchi hai. Gaadi ki build quality mazboot hai, toh rozana use mein jaldi koi dikkat nahi aati.

I have been using the Honda Activa 5G Deluxe Edition for almost five years now, and after living with it for so long, I feel I can give a very honest and practical review from an owner’s point of view.
The first thing that stands out is reliability. In these five years, the scooter has never left me stranded on the road. With regular servicing, it has remained smooth and dependable for daily commuting, whether it’s short grocery runs or longer city rides. The engine is not meant for racing, but it is extremely refined and stress-free to ride in traffic. Pickup is gentle and predictable, which makes it perfect for crowded roads.
Mileage has been another strong point. In normal city use, I consistently get around 45–50 kmpl, which is quite satisfactory for a petrol scooter. Maintenance costs have also been reasonable. Spare parts are easily available, and Honda’s service network makes ownership convenient. Routine services, oil changes, and brake replacements have never felt expensive.
Comfort is decent for both rider and pillion. The seat is wide enough, the riding posture is relaxed, and the suspension handles bad roads fairly well. Under-seat storage is practical for daily needs, and the scooter feels stable even after years of use. The Deluxe Edition’s paint and finish have aged well too, with only minor wear showing over time.
That said, it does feel slightly outdated today. The instrument cluster is basic, and compared to newer scooters, it lacks modern features like fully digital displays or smart keys. Performance is strictly commuter-focused, so if you want something sporty, this may not excite you.
Overall, after five years, I can say the Activa 5G Deluxe Edition has been a solid, no-nonsense companion. It may not be flashy, but for reliability, comfort, fuel efficiency, and low running costs, it has served me extremely well and still feels capable of handling everyday duties without fuss.

It's been around 5 years owing activa 5g. Shockers aren't the best, you can feel your spine being attacked on potholes. The mileage is too low, getting around 30-35 max. The service center is worse. They had my battery replaced thrice but still couldn't rectify the small issue of self-start. Had to take my vehicle 8 to 10 times before it got fixed. My next scooter will definitely not be an Activa.

Initially, I was very excited to get this smart and keyless model bike. But within a few months, the lock started giving a problem and now very often the lock gets stuck and I am unable to unlock it. This has happened multiple times now. Please rectify this issue as soon as possible. The ride and vehicle as such are great but this issue is very frustrating. Twice it happened at a public place and many bystanders even came to try to unlock it.
