It seems like you are interested in buying a motorcycle. Here are some things to consider before making a purchase:Buying experience: Before buying a motorcycle, it’s important to research and compare different models. You should consider factors such as your budget, the type of riding you plan to do, and your level of experience. It’s also a good idea to test ride different models to see which one feels most comfortable.Riding experience: Riding a motorcycle can be an exhilarating experience, but it can also be dangerous if you’re not properly trained or equipped. Before hitting the road, make sure you have the necessary safety gear such as a helmet, gloves, and boots. You should also take a motorcycle safety course to learn how to ride safely and avoid accidents.Details about looks, performance etc.: Motorcycles come in many different styles and sizes, each with its own unique features and benefits. Some popular types of motorcycles include cruisers, sport bikes, touring bikes, and dirt bikes. You should consider factors such as the bike’s performance, handling, and looks when choosing a model.Servicing and maintenance: Like any vehicle, motorcycles require regular maintenance to keep them running smoothly. You should be prepared to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. It’s also a good idea to have your bike serviced by a professional mechanic at least once a year.Pros and Cons: Owning a motorcycle has its pros and cons. Some of the benefits include increased physical and mental health, fuel efficiency, and easier parking. However, motorcycles can also be dangerous if not ridden safely, require more maintenance than cars, and may not be suitable for all types of weather conditions.

Change your engine oil regularly. Engine oil is like the blood of your bike. It lubricates the engine parts, reduces friction, and cools down the engine. Dirty or low engine oil can cause engine damage, poor performance, and reduced fuel efficiency. You should check your oil level after every service and change it as per the manufacturer’s recommendation1. Inspect your tyres frequently. Tyres are the only contact between your bike and the road. They affect your ride quality, handling, and safety. You should check your tyre pressure, tread depth, and condition regularly. Under-inflated or over-inflated tyres can cause uneven wear, poor grip, and increased fuel consumption. Worn-out or damaged tyres can lead to skidding, punctures, or blowouts2. Keep your air filter clean. Air filter prevents dust and debris from entering your engine. A clogged or dirty air filter can reduce the air intake, which affects the combustion process and engine performance. A clean air filter improves your bike’s efficiency, power, and mileage3. Pay attention to your brakes. Brakes are essential for your safety and control on the road. You should check your brake pads, fluid, and cables regularly for any signs of wear or damage. If your brakes are too tight or too loose, they can affect your braking distance and response. If your brakes make any screeching or grinding noise, they need to be serviced or replaced4. Clean your bike often. Cleaning your bike not only makes it look good but also prevents dirt and corrosion from damaging its parts. You should wash your bike with mild soap and water, dry it with a soft cloth, and apply wax or polish to protect the paintwork. You should also lubricate your chain, sprockets, cables, and hinges to prevent rust and friction5. These are some of the basic maintenance tips that can help you keep your bike in excellent

The Honda Shine stands out as one of the finest choices in the 125cc segment. Priced competitively at around Rs. 74,000. it offers exceptional value, slightly exceeding the cost of the CB Shine. Its simplicity in design is complemented by a comfortable riding experience, making it an ideal companion for daily commutes. The overall performance is impressive, and the low servicing costs contribute to its appeal. This bike seamlessly combines style, comfort, and affordability, making it a top pick in its class. My riding experience has been nothing short of excellent, making it the best value for money in my opinion. Highly recommended.

The bike gives the best in class mileage which is most admirable in the present scenario of fuel price hike. Besides engine is supersmooth and dependable for the long term. Ride comfort is best in class. What else does someone need to be a top-notch bike. Always prefer Honda bikes. Looks are decent and build quality is reliable. Good quality plastics are used. The headlight is okay but needs a little improvement in brightness level. One more improvement is required to be suggested for turn indicators. They should be flexible so that no damage is caused by hitting the legs of the rear passenger.

Good choice for daily commute. Bought it for my father hope Honda will serve him well. You may doubt its capabilities by looking but before judging it just go on a test ride. Suspensions are very comfortable specially on bad roads. Mileage is also a good point. Fit and finish are average. Not a bad choice though.

Tips for other riders

The bike offers a smooth and comfortable ride, with its well-designed ergonomics ensuring a relaxed posture during long journeys. The 55 kmpl mileage is impressive, making it a fuel-efficient option for daily commuting. The 9-liter fuel tank capacity adds to the convenience, reducing the frequency of refueling stops.
