My experience :- On the road the discover 125 st proved to be a capable commuter, the engine offers a good spread of torque for good ride-ability. The smooth engine and slick 5-speed gearbox enhance the ease of operation. The handling is light yet confident. The front petal-disc brake has a strong bite for quick stops.Buying experience *****Riding experience *****Details about looks, performance etc *****Servicing and maintenance ****

Buying experience is quite good, riding this bike is joy, looks is ok and performance is best in 125cc segment, servicing and maintenance is low no need to go service center for any bike problems. Everything is good in this bike.I ride this bike for 900 km in one day without any issue of over heating or any other issues.

  • Good bike for daily commute

Good bike for daily commute. I am having this bike since June 2012 and this is my review after using this bike for around 5+ years.Looks: looks really great as compared to other 125 cc commuter bike as the name suggest sports tourer so this bike is quite sporty in look , open chain sprocket and single monoshock add to the sportiness of this bike.Engine: its powered by a 125 cc engine which produces a 13ps of power which is more that all the bike in 125 cc segment , its a 4 valve twinspark dtsi engine so the mileage of this bike is also good.Performance: the pickup of this bike is very good but the engine lack smoothness , it has 5 speed gears which helps us to stretch the bike.It performs quite well in city as well as in highways and their are no heating problems with engine. Mileage: this is best part about bajaj, bajaj is famous for providing good mileage bike the company claims around 72 but in city it gives me around 55-60 kmpl which is quite satisfactory from a 125 cc bike.Service: the service of this bike from authorized is quite cheap and it costs me around 300-1000 depending upon the parts that are going to be changed. Now lets talk about a few negatives of this bike:Lack of smoothness: the engine is powerful but it lacks smoothness.Brakes: the front brake sometimes gives a lot of problems. No digital console: bajaj could have provided a digital meter console as provided by its competitor. That's all in negatives.Final verdict: overall value for money bike by bajaj.

It's within mango man's budget.Riding quality with foot position, handle and seat comfort with mono suspension... Too good, but yes after touching 70km/hr vibration is there.Looks is good,Service cost very less parts r easily available. Only thing, just change the rear tyre with a bit bigger size so as to get better grip in turning.

  • Mango mans bike

    Monotosh Ghosh

It's within mango man's budget.Riding quality with foot position, handle and seat comfort with mono suspension... Too good, but yes after touching 70km/hr vibration is there.Looks is good,Service cost very less parts r easily available. Only thing, just change the rear tyre with a bit bigger size so as to get better grip in turning.

Change oil after 2000km, plus don't forget to change the rear tyre with a bit bigger size so as to get better grip in turning. Rest up to ur choices.
