Not too good on looks @ first sight and looks like r15v3 in front view as well as less mileage very stiff for riding in cities looks are not good can be better next time and this maxi scooter is just developed by the new suzuki burgman street 125 and very bad may be better and to improve the quality.

This scooter has a manufacturing defect....
1. Fuel pump and fuel injector don't work properly and create huge trouble anywhere.
2. Proper mechanics are not available.
3. Mechanics can't find out problems.
4. Sane problems are raised again and again.
5. Shocker doesn't work properly in condition.
6. Gps navigation system missing.

Very bad service high maintenance and not price worthy there are no pros in this scooter only cons are there it gets stopped when it gets heated very expensive parts very disappointed an activa is far better than Aprilia am very much disappointed with its performance no mileage nothing feeling cheated.

There are a few problems with its shock absorbers and brakes as they get jammed and are released slowly after a bump in the road. As long as the road is smooth, the scooter is far better than its contemporaries in its class. Further, yes, it is true that the seat is not comfortable for daily commuters who tend to ride it more than 60 km a day. For short journeys on smooth roads, this scooter offers a pleasant experience for the rider. Overall, the scooter is fun to ride, especially for short journeys.

Good, but service centre not doing well, every vehicle required correct lubricant accordingly, this service centre people not maintaining a proper stock of certified lubricant, after every service, I go nearby mechanic and replace the engine oil gulf 20w40 which is mentioned in manual book, after that my Aprilia rocks, I request Aprilia company to check this errors in all service centre, and maintain fine lubricant mentioned accordingly, my vehicle gives me mileage of 40km, I am happy...

Now almost 1 year is completed and I ride above 20k km. I am using it for my daily work. The riding experience was super. Given mileage of 50.5 kmpl. Servicing cost is slightly higher. But performance-wise super. The riding experience on the highway was excellent. But required to rear tyre change after 18500 km. Another bike will shake.

The average of bike is pathetic it just in between 18-20km/l. The service cost is high. Apart for the brand name and look nothing is good about this scooter. The storage capacity is too small, the front safe is bad n in rain the things kept in locker will get wet. This bike is biggest mistake of my life. No one should buy it.

Honest review after riding 2689 kms on sxr 160.
I bought this beauty in June 2021, the ride quality is awesome (i am 5.7). I already have activa ,so using the sxr only for long rides. The best part is , you will never feel tired after running 200-250kms.

4.Pune- Satara-pachgani-mahabaleshwar -pune
5.Khadakwasla dam, panshet
6.Pune-rajugurnagar- pune
7.City drives occasionally
Average achieved when single occupancy - 43.8 km/l
Average achieved when double occupancy - 40.3 km/l
Before first service average was around 35-36 km/l.
Where ever you take this beauty ..People will notice and start asking about this.
Negative points -
After 1500kms, there is small noise at tail lamp, loose screw but sorted out by taking it to service center.
It seems Aprilia is not working on there fuel indicator sensor, most of the time wrong readings.
Side stand should have been more angular.
Aprilia should introduce , accessories for this maxi-scooter.
Overall loved the sxr 160

Mileage is very poor. I doubt I hardly get a mileage around 20 km/l.. While filling the petrol, the petrol spills out making it a wastage. Pick up is also not good.. The only good thing is the ABS. It has the best abs in its segment.. It's ABS is better than some bikes. Looks good. Handling is ok. Not at all worth buying

It's seat lock is not working
You can not fill the petrol tank full without wastage as the petro comes out while filling It has starting problem. It makes a whistling sound and one typical sound while driving and it is irritating i request to all please don't go for A|prillis SR 160 it is horrible and I had a very bad experience.
