The Aprilia RSV4 Factory is the Italian company’s flagship superbike and contender in the highly competitive superbike segment, where every manufacturer worth its salt has been pushing the boundaries of performance, handling, and technology. The Aprilia RSV4 is quite a competent motorcycle and one of the biggest reasons for that is its engine.
The RSV4 Factory is powered by a 1,099cc, liquid-cooled, V4 engine that develops 214bhp at 13,000rpm and 125Nm at 10,500rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox that has a bi-directional quickshifter.
The design of the Aprilia RSV4 Factory is one of its strong points. It looks beautiful with just the right proportions to give it a good road presence without hampering its racetrack carving ability. Bits such as the LED headlights, shape of the tank and fairings, and the tiny tail section are reminiscent of race bikes.
Under the bodywork, you’ve got a dual beam aluminium frame, which is suspended by a 43mm USD fork and a monoshock. These suspension units are made by Ohlins and can be electronically adjusted. Braking duties, meanwhile, are taken care of by 330mm discs at the front with Brembo Stylema callipers, while there’s a 220mm disc at the rear with Brembo two-piston callipers. The bike tips the scales at 202kg.
The bike, as expected, is loaded with electronic aids and these include six ride modes, cornering ABS, and cornering traction control. There are different ABS modes, engine maps, and engine braking settings as well. This allows you to tailor the characteristics of the engine’s power delivery, responsiveness, and engine braking to suit the type of circuit that one is riding on.
The Aprilia RSV4 Factory goes up against the Ducati Panigale V4 S that’s priced higher, at Rs. 33.47 lakh.

Buying experience I didn't get it from the Aprilia showroom instead I got it from a third-party seller buying experience was good.My riding experience is so good my previous bike was zx-10r, when I made a decision to buy this bike I thought that how much different will it be from Zx-10r it has almost the same power? Is buying this will be a good decision? But after buying it I realised it is so much better than 10r ( no hate to 10r it was an awesome bike but the factory is on another level )It looks good and unique one of the reasons I shifted form 10r was that it is very common in India but i had never seen anybody else riding a V4 factory.Servicing cost and maintenance costs are high but every superbike's maintenance is high you can't expect it to be low.Pros - performance, looks, rarity Cons - not every service center can service it service reach is bad
