What bike it's really comfortable to drive continental gt is an unmatched engine better than any royal enfield available till now i had driven it on orissa tour 5000km in seven days and the performance was spectacular and unmatched. The maintenance and performance was really cool .You just change oil in time and keep the tyres of this bike along with brake pads in proper shape the bike will bring smile on your face everytime you ride. It just a super royal enfield.

  • Not the best but works fine

    Notttt

This bike is super nice but when you are riding in the city it’s really hot near your legs and 650cc is not useful in city riding mode and its riding posture is not suitable for long rides so it’s a typical city bike and 650cc isn’t good for city riding, it only gives a mileage of 16-18km/l and the fuel cost will be more for this bike. Coming to service it’s on a little expensive side and if there are any repairs ya damage to the bike it’s gonna cost so much!!
Who should buy this bike is ~
    1) who can afford more
    2) who likes the bike so much
    3) who need 650cc engine and will only ride in the city.

  • 650cc massive machine

The best cafe racer in India at an affordable price. Once you ride this machine, you will never go for another bike. The power, the quality of the bike, if you want mileage, then this is not for you.. But it gives a mileage of 25 to 28 kmpl which is super for a 650-parallel twin engine. Gears 1 2 3 touch 110kmph. But if ride like this, then you will get only 13 to 15kmpl. With proper gear shifts and good riding, you get 26 to 28kmpl. If you want a cafe racer & sports riding position, it is gt.. Or if you want a comfortable long-ride riding position, then it is interceptor.. It is 100 percent worth 3.5lakhs..

  • GT-650 | Read if you're buying one.

    Varun Singh

1- Buying Experience - In the excitement of buying the bike, I booked from two locations i.e. Raja Garden and Jhandewalan, I was told to wait for 4-5 months at both locations though people at Raja Garden deceived by saying something different over the call and changing statements when met in person. I ignored it all just for the excitement of buying the bike despite not being provided the test ride.
2- Riding Exp: Well for obvious reasons, I could not revi it to the full during the engine breaking time i.e up to 500 Km/first service and it heated like anything. It felt as if I am sitting on a furnace until the first service. The first-time Cafe Racer rider will take up to 2-3 weeks to adapt to its nature (Committed posture) and in the first few weeks, you'll kind of re-evaluate your decision of buying this particular bike :P Man... those were some hard weeks, you name the body part and it was paining.. be it wrists, back, hands, neck, shoulder.. everything pained and it felt more of a punishment rather than an enjoyable bike ride. But when you get used to it, you'll love every bit of it. You gotta have it for weeks/months to decide whether it's a comfortable bike or not and it is one of the reason why many YouTubers or rather bike reviewers says that it is not a comfortable bike. After the first service, you'll feel the power it possesses and how fun and fast it can leave others behind while being a calm-looking cute little motorcycle. You can ride it both ways a hooligan or a gentleman in his suit.
3- Looks and performance- Need I say anything? Nah, GT 650 is pure love in terms of looks and it will always be. I chose the originally launched Rocker Red color and it looks stunning, obviously, the Mr. Clean is surely a head turner but paying an extra 32K for just that piece of Tank is non-sense. Go get it wrapped or buy a Chrome Tank for 11-12K :P The performance is a bit diluted and tamed for the low end. The sweet spot is mid and high-end. So beginners won't feel the difficulty in adapting to the power provided you're not twisting the throttle hard.
4- Servicing and maintenance- There is so much going on for the electricals and ECU, so you better get that extended warranty with it since those sensors and units cost a bomb. Servicing costs are about 3.5K when the oil change service is done which includes the oil filter etc. The service period is 10K followed by general look-up and top-up service at 5K intervals. so, all in all, it is equivalent to the smaller segment RE's 350s.
5- Pros - Looks, reliable engine, VFM, legacy.
Cons- frequent refueling (should have had larger fuel tank considering its mileage), lack of accurate fuel gauge (current one works weirdly and cannot be relied on), least add one Instrument Console from Hunter (Gear Position, Clock, etc) while maintaining the retro look.

    Rajat Naik

The bike is awesome for riding...Good for daily use..And it is also good in look which attracts many people who love the bikes..And even the sound of the exhaust is good and smooth...But we should keep checking the handle parts occasionally..If we didn't it will wobble due to the scarcity of oil..Keep changing the oil after the ride of 3000 kilometers.

The Continental GT 650 is a true embodiment of Royal Enfield's heritage while offering a contemporary riding experience.
First and foremost, the design of the Continental GT 650 is a head-turner. It harks back to the cafe racer era with its retro-inspired styling, low-slung handlebars, and a single, humped seat. The attention to detail, from the chrome accents to the classic paint schemes, is evident, and it exudes an aura of nostalgia.
The heart of the Continental GT 650 is its 648cc parallel-twin engine. This engine is a gem, offering a perfect blend of torque and power for an enjoyable riding experience. The thumping exhaust note is music to my ears, and it gives the bike a distinctive character that is unmistakably Royal Enfield.
On the road, the Continental GT 650 is a joy to ride. It's not an overly powerful sportbike, but it doesn't need to be. The torque is ample, and it's delivered smoothly throughout the rev range. Whether I'm cruising on the highway or navigating city streets, the bike feels responsive and agile.
One of the standout features of this motorcycle is its comfortable riding position. The low-slung handlebars and rear-set footpegs put the rider in a slightly sporty yet relaxed posture, perfect for longer rides. The seat, despite its cafe racer appearance, is surprisingly comfortable for extended journeys.
The chassis and suspension offer a good balance between handling and ride comfort. The bike feels stable in corners, and the suspension absorbs bumps and imperfections in the road fairly well. It's not a hardcore sportbike, but it's more than capable of carving through twisty roads with confidence.
Maintenance and reliability have been relatively hassle-free. Royal Enfield has made significant improvements in this department, and the Continental GT 650 is a testament to their commitment to quality and durability.
As for fuel efficiency, it's quite reasonable for a motorcycle of this size and power. Of course, it's not a fuel-sipping commuter, but it won't break the bank either.
In conclusion, the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is a fantastic blend of classic style and modern performance. It offers a unique riding experience that harks back to the golden age of cafe racers while meeting the demands of today's riders. It's a motorcycle that not only turns heads but also puts a smile on the rider's face every time the throttle is twisted. Whether you're a cafe racer enthusiast or simply looking for a stylish and enjoyable ride, the Continental GT 650 is a worthy choice.

A fun filled thrilling ride, its great joy at canyon carvings. Breeze on highway and easy in city rides even. A great value for money product with superior quality hardware and certainly that 650 cc t win cylinder engine is a gem. Having 25 kmpl out of most of my highway rides. Service cost is so feasible and even service period is longer compared to any other bike in its price range. In comparison with interceptor conti gt adds on its sporty feel. Happy riding.

  • Gt650 is a sure...Ton of fun

    Tony As

Its the only affordable cafe racer model now in India. Good well refined inline twin engine. Braking is just awesome. Mid range is best spot for gt650. Good sporty riding position, better handler, can do best cornering. Those who love retro old school styled bikes will love gt650. If i have to say cons then it is the fuel gauge which sometimes not showing fuel range correctly and takes time to show the correct fuel read out. And mainly r.E need to give their flagship 650 twins tubeless tyres. I am a happy and satisfied owner of the royal enfield continental gt650.

  • The bike is literally awesome... Heres my experiences

Its the only affordable cafe racer model now in India. Good well refined inline twin engine. Braking is just awesome. Mid range is best spot for gt650. Good sporty riding position, better handler, can do best cornering. Those who love retro old school styled bikes will love gt650. If i have to say cons then it is the fuel gauge which sometimes not showing fuel range correctly and takes time to show the correct fuel read out. And mainly r.E need to give their flagship 650 twins tubeless tyres. I am a happy and satisfied owner of the royal enfield continental gt650.
