2. I rode this bike for the first time (a friend's bike)/The excellent speed pickup engine is very good running smoothly and this design was very beautiful.

4. Maintenance I don't know because I don't have this bike definitely one of my dream comes true.

I have noted down 8 months ownership review of re continental gt650.
Pros
1. Looks are incomparable in this segment.
2. No vibrations even at top end.
3. Top speed is 175+
4. Exhaust note is awesome with stock exhaust.(you can also use gursewak )
5. So much power at such a low price.
6. Reasonable service and maintenance cost.
Cons
1. Not good for long rides cause of clip-on bar handles.
2. Not good for pillion also.
3. Halogen bulb light could be better.

Hey there ! I had booked my GT 650 bs6 custom in the month of march 2020 and got its delivery in may 2020 ! Buying experience wasn't so smooth due to covid !! But the bike , i must tell you is a bomb !! I've ridden 2022 km since i bought the bike and find it absolute a gem of a creation !! Initially in the first week of the purchase i faced a bit of back pain and wrist pain but it faded away once i got used to the bike at roughly after 150-200km of riding it !! Bow i can travel atleast 1000 km at a stretch without any hassle ! The looks of the bikes are just superb !! Perfect blend of sporty and old school !! Its a heritage motorcycle after-all !! Performance is top notch !! Whichever gear you are in , you need not downshift in order to overtake swiftly !! Such is the torque !! Pickup is almost instantaneous !! You need to really hold tight of the tank or else you will fall !!! I've had my first service by 500km and its really cheap to maintain !! Just 2500 rs !
Pros :-
1) Enough power for city and highway
2) Almost instantaneous pickup
3) Headturner , people on signals or stops are curious to know which bike it is !!
4) great cornering abilities !! Better than interceptor
5) really grippy tyres !!
6) Pretty good mileage in city and highway considering a 650cc engine !!
7) Too stylish to look at and is timeless
8) Sweet exhaust note .
9) adjustable rear suspension .
Cons :-
1) Aggressive riding position takes time to get used to !
2) Due to aggressive riding position , wrist and back pain are inevitable .
3) Due to dual exhaust , traffic filtering is a bit tough for rookies !
4) If the bike tilts in standstill position then it cant be dealt , you will surely encounter a fall !
5) Small fuel tank capacity !
6) Really heavy at 230 plus kg (wet weight)
7) Mirrors visibility isn't that great !! Blind spots are not visible .
8) Fogging issue in speedometer!!

Hi all, i recently bought the GT 650 i was wondered that is this machine really belongs to the RE family or produced from some other platform seriously guys this a mad machine you people really enjoys the ride from the bottom of your heart, excellent build quality, features that had come with amazing, and the riding position is really aggressive and you feel the sporty look.

I have been riding my gt for more than a year now and I have to say this is a head turner, The performance is best in the price range ,the riding posture takes some time to get used to but when it does there is no discomfort in riding. The mileage is decent and I get 21 in city 30 on highway. The bike does not feel like a royal Enfield at all.

Buying experience was good and they showed good customer care . Long riding in a single stretch more than 100 mile is very tiresome but the bike makes you feel to ride more.More features are to be added which are essential for long touring and it’s so damn heavy be careful where you park it . Loved the bike.

First of all, it was my first bike. Thought of to have some good times with it. But it makes beginners go mad, in cities especially. The kerb weight weighing over 214 kgs makes it difficult to enjoy the ride. You must have a good control and experience on other heavy bikes to ride this beast. And coming to the mileage part, the RE officially declares it to be 27-28 kmpl but actually get like 18-22 kmpl. You can't enjoy long rides, this being a cafe racer is ideal only for short rides (home to college and college to home). The posture gives you severe backpain even after a 80 km ride. Apart from this, the other attachments and modifications costs pretty expensive. And everything other than this is pretty good, you can expect for good service every time.
