About Dominar 400
The Bajaj Dominar offers the best value proposition at its price point, but improvements can always be made to a product. Bajaj has gone ahead and done just that. The 2019 year model of the Dominar will get a number of changes to make it better than before. The most obvious change is inverted front forks. We expect these to be borrowed from the KTM range, and that also means that there is an excellent chance of the radially mounted Bybre caliper with opposed pistons making it to the 2019 Dominar as well. This will offer much better braking. Speaking of which, the company has also worked on the ABS system to offer better performance. A new radiator will be present, to help cool the engine more effectively, and the handlebar will be raised slightly.
The instrument cluster will be revamped, along with the split unit on the fuel tank that offers warning lights. Finally, the company has worked to reduce the kerb weight of the Dominar, which will offer a whole host of benefits like better fuel efficiency, better tank range for the tourers, and better ride, handling and braking.
We expect the price of the 2019 Dominar to go up significantly thanks to these additions, but we also expect it to firmly remain the best value proposition in its price range.
