The Burgman Street ushers in a new class of scooters. Besides the daily commute, we have ridden it around with a pillion, taken it off the beaten track, and we have also done an intercity road trip on the scooter. And, after nearly three months we are ready to wrap things up. Here then is a list of things we liked and some we didn’t about living with the Burgman Street.
What is a scooter? It needs to epitomise comfort, ease of riding, and a stress-free commute. After having ridden the Burgman Street in the city for a month and nearly 700km, we think it comes pretty close to that.
In the traditional sense, it’s a touring scooter. A scooter that you can take on long rides – be it on the highways, over changing terrain, or around some twisties; much like a motorcycle, if you will. But, it is a scooter. And, that means it must also be practical and effortless to ride on a daily basis.
