It is the best in its segment while we talk about its price and its riding position. Its so easy to ride in city for daily use. And if we talk about its looks then it looks something that yeah something is coming. Look bigger than vulcan and harley. It looks 650cc bike. Enfield always have a low maintenance as I am riding it since i am in 12th standard means 2006. I don't think that anyone has any need to change anything in it. Yeah but you can like its handle and add some accessories while on tour. I love it.

    Tips for other riders

I think one should know what you are buying. Because its 650 cc boss. And its hard to maintain such stuff. So if you are a enfield rider then you already know what maintenance it demands. Ride it safe and don't push its limits otherwise you loose it.

  • It's not a bullet

    Nishant

Amazing bike at this price range. I always loved bullets and wanted to buy one. Had a pulsar for college as parents thought of. Bullet as too heavy for me. So bought it. When it was launched recently at a price that is 40k less than the current on road. Too a paid number, 5 years cashless insurance and extended warranties as had heard about breakdowns in some models. When I tode it, I was a little disappointed because this was no bullet. But then started riding with an altogether different perception and this bike will never disappoint you. Service can be a hit or miss depending on the service centre. But overall riding this bike is an absolute pleasure. You'd feel as if you're riding a rocket. Can't compare with sports bikes but for a retro bike at this price range with a comfy riding position not straining your back. This was absolute bang for my buck.

Best in class if we compare it to other 650 cc segment, pocket friendly
Classic retro look and performance and pickup is like time traveling. Vroom it’s been 1 year I am riding this machine. I took it for touring as well Almost covered 9k km on this. Words are not enough to explain. No other Indian made bike can cross you and it’s a beast with no experience.

0 to 100 in 5 seconds. No vibration, and excellent for long-distance with good control off-road and as well as on the road. 650 cc gives good speed on highways. I will recommend this who want to go for long drives with comfortable seating and uninterrupted ride with a good service network of Royal enfield.. Trusted brand.

  • Interceptor 650 a balanced review

    Pranav

I have owned the bike for around a year now and hence am in a fairly good position to review the bike. The ownership experience has been satisfactory. This boils down to the largely trouble free nature of the machine. It is well engineered and well put together. The reliability has been stellar and have not faced any glitches except for a fogging instrument console. I raised it with HSR Services (authorized dealer for RE) and their team got it replaced in a day. No questions asked. Overall the positives of the bike would include a creamy smooth twin cylinder motor with oodles of torque everywhere. Its an under stressed motor and hence doesn't produce mind boggling power but runs cool and calm. The fantastic chassis and stability at high speed are also noteworthy. Brakes are powerful although they lack feel and feedback at the levers. The cost of servicing has been low, roughly around 3k and the quality of service has been good too. Coming to the negatives, I believe the suspension is of the budget category with not enough rebound damping and they bottom out very soon. The headlight throw could have been better as well although the spread is good. The tank range isn't too much (approx. 200-230kms) and that could have been larger. The Pirelli tyres have excellent grip on dry roads and okayish on wet roads. The fuel efficiency roughly ranges between 20-28km/l which I think is not bad considering the size of the motor. Overall I feel this is the best offering in the 3 lakh rupees category. Highly recommended.

  • Built like a gun and the owners feel it

    Dr Syed

The riding experience is one of the best. I had decided to buy a KTM 390 and took the test ride and loved KTM. But since I am not a bullet person (for its weight), I had not considered interceptor. Since the re showroom was on the same road as KTM (Indiranagar, Bangalore), thought will give interceptor also a try. Once I sat on the bike and the sound of the engine from the exhausts was alluring enough. I immediately bought it which was delivered in 2 days. And since then, have loved the beast. It throws its weight around and thrills every bone in the body with its utter power. No wonder the bikes are being sold like hot cakes and people are forming interceptor communities on social media. For highway riding also up to a speed of 130kmph, its a delight to ride. And in city riding, which I bought it for, its hot. Literally hot. After we clock 1000kms, the engine feels lot cooler and manageable since its a 650cc bike. To ride this bike, one must be an expert at riding 2 wheelers. This cant be your first bike. But one of the last ones in your collection of bikes over lifetime

I love it.
