GoZero Skellig e-bike range launched in India

GoZero Mobility has announced the launch of its new line of e-bikes, the Skellig range. The new series comprises of three models – Skellig, Skellig Lite and Skellig Pro.

The GoZero Skellig uses the EnerDrive 210Wh lithium battery pack (800 cycles) that powers the 250W GoZero Drive Motor. The e-bike gets several modes of operation like the Throttle Mode, Five-level Peddle-Assist Mode, Walk Mode, and Cruise Mode. The feature list on this model includes an alloy stem handle, 26x1.95 tyres, and a counter-body suspension fork.

The GoZero Skellig Lite, too, uses the EnerDrive 210Wh lithium battery pack (800 cycles) and 250W drive motor. This version comes with GoZero Drive Control 2.0 which features three modes of pedal-assist. The Lite variant comes equipped with an alloy stem handle, 26x1.95 tyres, specialized V-brakes and an independent rigid suspension fork.

The Skellig and Skellig Lite have a maximum speed of 25kmph, and the battery pack is claimed to deliver a range of 25km on a single charge. The EnerDrive Battery pack can be charged in 2.5 hours.

Apart from the standard and the Lite version, GoZero Mobility will also offer a feature-rich Pro version of the e-bike. The company claims that the Pro variant is meant for off-roading and city commutes. The Skellig Pro boasts an EnerDrive 400Wh lithium battery pack (2,000 cycles). The top-spec model also gets a composite mild steel frame, seven-speed gear system, an advanced front suspension fork, alloy stem handle, 26x2.35 inches tyres, and GoZero disc brakes for the front and rear wheels.

Other features on the Skellig Pro include a GoZero Drive Control Version 4.0 LCD display and a flashlight with a guide-me-home enabled lighting system. The maximum speed of this model is 25kmph and it is claimed to deliver 70km range in a single charge. GoZero claims that the battery can be recharged to 95 per cent in three hours.

The Skellig Lite, Skellig, Skellig Pro have been priced at Rs 19,999, Rs 24,999 and Rs 34,999 respectively. The Skellig and Skellig Pro are available both online and offline, while the Skellig Lite is available on the GoZero website and other e-commerce platforms. The pre-orders for Skellig Series will open from 8 November while Amazon orders will commence from 12 November. The deliveries will start from 25 November.
