  • Shock absorber of Activa 6g is the concern - as it gives lot of back pain

    Vineet V Garge

    2. Riding experience has been very bad, as it is impacting my lower back with lot of daily pains. I had to spent money frequently on my medications. Front & back shock absorber are giving lot of Jerks while driving. I also get pains in my left hand after driving continuously. Front suspension gets jam. Any rider can experience this when he seats and slightly pulls the handle at upward position. despite of raising this problem at service center , the problem is not cured, as it seems to be manufacturing fault.

  • Bad servicing

    Dattatray

Servicing is not good as there are unnecessary charges included in service. Technician are not capable to identify the issues and resolution of the same. Problem persists even after the servicing. They are not checking the vehicle thoroughly for the issue while doing servicing. Overall bad experience in 2nd time of free service.

  • Multiple issues seat locking kick start heavy vibrations at start

    Mustafa

Horrible experience with my activa 6g.
Seat locking issues started to appear from the first week I bought the vehicle, I have gone to the service center multiple times and they fix it in a few minutes but the next day it's the same. I don't have the confidence to even put my helmet in the vehicle while parked. The kickstart is giving issues. It's only 5 months and I am getting jerks whenever the bike is taken out of a still position whether it's at the signal standing point or riding out from the parking.

  • Honda Activa 6G

    Ravi Mathanya

My journey with the Honda Activa 6G began with a seamless buying experience. The dealership staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism, guiding me through the various models and features. The transparent communication and efficient paperwork made the purchase hassle-free. The Activa 6G offers a delightful riding experience. The scooter's ergonomic design provides exceptional comfort during long rides, and the responsive handling ensures a smooth journey through city traffic. The intuitive controls make it an ideal choice for both seasoned riders and beginners. Visually, the Activa 6G stands out with its sleek and modern design. The build quality is commendable, reflecting Honda's commitment to durability. The performance, driven by a refined engine, is impressive. The scooter delivers a perfect blend of power and fuel efficiency, making it a reliable companion for daily commutes. One of the standout features of the Activa 6G is its low maintenance requirements. Servicing intervals are reasonable, and the associated costs are budget-friendly. The after-sales service has been prompt, with the dealership offering efficient solutions to any concerns. This ease of maintenance aligns well with my busy schedule as a Senior Software Engineer. Excellent fuel efficiency, reducing the frequency of refueling. Sturdy build quality ensures durability and longevity. Comfortable riding posture for long commutes. Low maintenance costs contribute to overall cost-effectiveness. Limited under-seat storage space may be insufficient for some users. The design, while modern, may not appeal to those seeking a more sporty look. In conclusion, the Honda Activa 6G has proven to be a reliable and practical choice for daily commuting. The buying process was smooth, the riding experience was comfortable, and the overall performance met the expectations of a discerning rider. Its low maintenance requirements make it an attractive option for individuals with a busy lifestyle.

  • My honest ownership review of activa 6g.

    Abdul Kadar

    The buying experience :
It was hassle-free from the meenakshi honda showroom in Tirunelveli.
    Ride and performance:
Active 6g offers a plush ride and is moderately comfortable on bad roads too.
Looks are pretty old same as the previous generations with some cosmetic makeover.
Performance is adequate for a 110cc motor with no eagerness for power and it accelerates smoothly without any drama which is quite good for a family-oriented scooter.
    Service and maintenance:
Honda’s service is great in our city and maintenance is very economical and pocket friendly.
    Pros:
Mileage is very good indeed around 45 to 48kmpl
    Smooth engine
    Very less vibration till 60kmph
Reliable and durable because of the metal body
    Cons:
Brakes lack the initial bite and there is a lot of room for improvement in the braking system. Panic braking doesn't work. One should always brake in advance to stop this scooter.
The boot light is missing where other brands provide for the same cost.
The fragile fuel lid opener feels cheap.
A complete analogue meter even in 6g is an eyesore. You can't have any data other than the speedometer and analogue fuel meter which is again very basic for the price it comes.
The rear 12-inch tyre could have been given for better dynamics and grip which is a big miss.
Last but not least handling of the scooter is very vague and not confidence-inspiring. This is my personal opinion as I have had ntorq before.!!
    Thanks for reading.
    Happy and safe riding.!!

  • Activa 6g new motor but decreased comfort

    Kartik Gautam

We got the red coloured dlx variant. This is the first major update since the 3g with loads of features like kill switch and a pass light and the new bsvi motor. Talking about the looks, the 6g looks better than the 5g indeed because there is no awkward positioning drl here. However just like the porsche 911, it retains the same looks like the famous 2nd gen variant. The body panels are new but not very different. The external fuel cap is made of plastic which is good as it won't dent easily but its button is a little tight, making it difficult to open sometimes. The seat is the same but is a little thin at the back which may make it uncomfortable for the passenger. Talking about the ride, the new bsvi motor starts off very well and the pickup is great as always the case with activa. The motor is very vocal and the scooter does vibrate vigorously around 65kmph and the hard plastic rattles too. The new suspension setup is soft at the front and does not interfere with the handling but the rear suspension is stiff to an extent that it can break your back. The impacts at the front are also felt hard at the back which is a very big negative about the scooter . Otherwise it is the good old activa and it won't cause you regret.

  • Worth scooter - review after 20000 km drive

    Anil Sawant

    1) buying experience was good at dealer
    2) vehicle seat is superb and also good for long drives as i drive vehicle for 150 km non stop still i didn't find any problem of engine overheating or any performance problem.
    3) vehicle looks stylish and its fuel refilling is also easy but if they could offer digital meter it could be much better
    4) I have driven scooter for almost 20,000 km in one year still I didn't find any problem in scooter except starter as in rainy season electric start was not functioning so I have to replace it.
    Pros
    a) seating posture is superb
    b) foot rest area is bigger and luggage can easily fit and even lpg cylinder easily fits
    c) headlight is much better and provide good visibility at dark night
    Cons
    a) no digital meter
    b) no charging point

    3) vehicle looks stylish and its fuel refilling is also easy but if they could offer digital meter it could be much better
    4) I have driven scooter for almost 20,000 km in one year still I didn't find any problem in scooter except starter as in rainy season electric start was not functioning so I have to replace it.
    Pros
    a) seating posture is superb
    b) foot rest area is bigger and luggage can easily fit and even lpg cylinder easily fits
    c) headlight is much better and provide good visibility at dark night
    Cons
    a) no digital meter
    b) no charging point
