New buyers stay away from this bike!
Pratik Mahajan
New buyers stay away from this bike!I own this scooter and within one week it started giving me problems. I have been to a service center more than 15 times but it is not the mistake of a mechanic. It's the fault of the manufacturer and engineer who designed it. I have faced issues with the Automatic on-off sensor and AFE average. both issues were solved by the service center after several visits. You need to be patient while getting resolved. But hold on it doesn't stop here it has major vibration issues and you can race more than 30 as it you will feel the vibration on the seat and footrest. My suggestion would be not to buy this TVS Jupiter 125 until TVS produces an error-free bike or if you have time to visit the service center several times and if you have a trained mechanic and a good service center in your city. It has major issues with clutch assembly. Note To date I have replaced the Fuel Gauge, Odometer but later they updated the software to remove the error of automatic on-off and AFE.

TVS Jupiter 125 Review

Suriyanarayana Rao K V
Service is very bad at Keshvin TVS they don't have any contact number, if they give any other number that person tells me I am sales salesperson, and then tells so, that they contact any other number. but after that, that number did not pick up my call. This is not the first time, every time I face the same problem. I contacted toll toll-free number that person also can’t any steps. so, don’t buy TVS Group vehicles because they do not provide clear service centres.

Excellent scooter but poor customer service. Booked online on 7th October and was informed about 1 month waiting period. After more than a month, no delivery date provided. Since i needed one as early as possible, emailed customer support to cancel order a week back. Still waiting for a reply and refund from their support team.

The salesperson didn't give details info about services and focused mainly on sales. The Scooty has starting problem in 1 year. Customer support is hopeless. I will never recommend TVS Scooter to anyone. Sorry, they let me down with their troubling Scooty. The guys in the servicing department were okay to talk with at least.

Pathetic and worst Bike ever
Shilpa
Jupiter 125 is a big horrible, pathetic, worst, and highly problematic vehicle. I would not even give one star for its rating. I have been using this vehicle for 1.5 years (Ran it for around 1700 km only ) and to date, it has gone for 3 services. This nasty vehicle broke down with a battery drain in the middle of a busy road and sometimes in the night at remote places.1) The major problems have been with the battery and the side stand. If this vehicle is kept idle even for a day, it doesn't start. The battery drains off too quickly. Kickstart also doesn't work. 2) Brakes are very very poor. Dangerous if you drive at a high speed. One can't apply sudden brakes. Also, they make noises when applied.3) The bike makes vibrations with poor grip on the backside wheel tire. When you turn the vehicle it slips which might lead to a fall. I feel like riding on loose sand losing the grip. Service centres are not helpful and all they do is give false promises and fake convincing about the vehicle. I gave 3-4 chances to this vehicle and I am fed up with it now. I finally have decided to sell it off and buy a Honda vehicles. Please don't believe the advertisements or build-up reviews about this vehicle and buy it off blindly. You will regret and suffer as long as it is with you.

Buying Experience:TVS is known for its widespread dealership network, which should make purchasing a Jupiter 125 relatively convenient for most customers. Typically, TVS dealerships offer a range of financing options and after-sales services to enhance the buying experience.Riding Experience:TVS Jupiter models are often praised for their comfortable and smooth ride quality. With the Jupiter 125, you can expect a similar experience, possibly enhanced by a more powerful engine compared to the smaller displacement models.Details about looks, performance, etc.:TVS Jupiter scooters are known for their elegant design and practical features. The Jupiter 125 is likely to feature contemporary styling with LED lighting, digital instrument clusters, and ample storage space. Performance-wise, being a 125-cc scooter, it should offer a good balance of power and fuel efficiency, making it suitable for both city commutes and occasional highway rides.Servicing and Maintenance:TVS generally offers competitive servicing and maintenance packages for its scooters. Regular maintenance schedules provided by the manufacturer should ensure the longevity and reliability of the Jupiter 125.Pros and cons:Pros:Likely to offer a comfortable ride with a good suspension setup.A 125-cc engine should provide sufficient power for various riding conditions.TVS' reputation for reliability and build quality.Features like LED lighting and digital instrument clusters add to the overall appeal.Cons:Potential concerns could include pricing, availability of spare parts, and any unforeseen issues with the new model.

Regular Oil Checks: Ensure to check the engine oil levels regularly and change it as per the manufacturer's recommendations. Tire Pressure: Maintain optimal tire pressure for better fuel efficiency, handling, and tire longevity. Check tire pressure at least once a week. Brake Inspection: Regularly inspect brake pads and brake fluid levels. Replace pads if they are worn out and ensure proper brake fluid levels for effective braking performance. Clean Air Filter: Clean or replace the air filter at recommended intervals to ensure optimal engine performance and fuel efficiency. Chain Lubrication: Keep the drive chain well-lubricated to prevent premature wear and tear, and ensure smooth power transmission. Battery Maintenance: Check the battery terminals for corrosion and ensure they are tight. Keep the battery charged if the scooter is not used frequently. Check Lights and Signals: Regularly inspect headlights, indicators, and brake lights to ensure they are functioning properly for safety on the road. Suspension Maintenance: Check suspension components for any signs of wear and tear. Ensure proper lubrication and adjust suspension settings as needed for a comfortable ride. Periodic Servicing: Adhere to the manufacturer's recommended service schedule for routine maintenance tasks such as engine tuning, spark plug replacement, and overall inspection. Keep it Clean: Regularly wash your scooter to prevent dirt buildup, which can lead to corrosion and deterioration of components over time.

Tips for other riders

Need to improve customer communication
Vikram Maindan
