Good powerful bike with great macho look. Replica of triumph street twin, but smooth and nimble. Gear changes is frequent as you can travel 40km/h in 3rd gear Cons- mileage 20km in city, heavy 210 kg with fuel. Stock ceat tyre's are tube type ( not tubeless like earlier firelli) so alloy wheel upgrade is more expensive. Seat is very narrow. You need 25000 rupees more to make it a better' bike.

I was using royal enfield classic 500 for almost five years. When i first heard about this bike i was surprised by the positive reviews that this bike was getting, without wasting any time i booked it.It took almost three months to get the delivery but for me this three months were like three years. Delivery process was smooth. My first impression was awesome, bike was looking awesome (ravishing red) when i gently opened the throttle i was surprised by the power delivery, it butter smooth.By the time i was out of the city i was already in love with my new bike, it much much better than my 500. I used to ride my 500 occasionally, i was using car for going to court for last 8 years but from the day of purchase this bike till date i am using it and i am very happy about it. Now i don't feel like driving my car. This is one of the best bike manufactured by royal enfield india. What i like about interceptor :1. Engine : it is butter smooth, there is hardly any vibration. 2. Performance : all the power is at your disposal at all times. There is no need to push it very hard, it simply cut through the traffic effortlessly. Acceleration is amazing. I have done 140 kmph without any fuss. 3. Looks: i like old bikes but prefer modern technology. This fits my requirements perfectly. 4. Price : nothing come close to it 5. Ride : i like the way it handles considering its weight. I simply love the way it handles. 6. Service : so far i had good experience let's hope to have great experience in future. 7. Sales : normally sales guys are good only at the time of selling their products but i'm glad to say that till date whenever i visit royal enfield dealership in panjim they are as hospitable as they were when i booked my bike. 8. Economy : i get decent 22 kmpl, Things i don't like :1. Weight, when you are parking it. 2. Heating to some extent 3. No tubeless tyres Note: i still love it I am not interested in rewards, if something is good or bad one must make a point to share their experience in order to help others to take right decision.

I got the interceptor 650 bakers express as my 21st birthday gift from my parents. I have clocked 600+km on my bike and i have to say that this bike truly has two characters. You can ride it in a calm and sedate manner somewhere around 3000 rpm and it cruises through gracefully. When you rev it hard, it behaves totally differently and will definitely put a smile on your face. I have been getting around 16-25 km/l depending on the way i ride and it is really good for a 650cc, 210 kg bike. The looks of the bike are proper retro. You could take this bike into the 80's and other than the exceptional fit and finish, the bike would just blend it. It is beautiful to look at. All the curves paired with the round headlamp and the rectangular side indicators and the 18" spoke rims really do give it an unique charm. The brakes on the 650 are just phenomenal. I saw in a couple of reviews where it posed shorter braking distance than even the ktm duke 390 and kawasaki ninja 300 and i can confirm it is true. The brakes are extremely precise and the abs does what it's supposed to. You can come comfortably to a halt from speeds upto 160 km/h within a few seconds.Another great aspect of the bike is the handling. For a bike that weighs over 200 kg and is also quite long the bike is very agile. You can maneuver it in the city without feeling like you will fall. The shifts are extremely precise and except from a couple of occasional false neutrals due to my own action of not moving the gear lever the entire way i have no issues with the clutch or the gearbox. The downsides of the bike have to be the lack of instrumentation information , fogging in the instrumentation and the unbelievably stupid placement of the foot pegs.

Got this bike after 3 months of waiting. And worth the wait!! Incredible experience. I use it daily, for 1300 kms a month, and never had a trouble. Riding experience is top class, overtaking has never been so easy/effortless. Proper looks of a retro roadster. Guys with a KTM taste buds will be foolish to buy this. Quality of the parts is top notch, you can check all over and won't find any cheap finish. Since this is a Global product, RE has left no stone unturned. Servicing is 2.5K per service, with 1.8K for Engine oil(uses 3.5L to keep itself cool). Gives me about 25 km/l(Range 22/29 in city/highway). Zero vibration, clean acceleration, a king on the road, great handling. Yet to find anything negative.

I waited for 4.5 months before laying my hands on the INT 650, decent service and buying experience The bike is for the feelers ,the classics and the who want a balance of show and go..excellent response from engine and clutch...clutch feels a tad bit heavy tho...looks an absolute charm...with the baker express paint scheme.easily hits cruising speeds... RE have tried to keep it simple and have succeeded..not many techie bits ,tho a gear indicator would've been nice..decent beginner bike . one you would cherish for years and will want to pass it down to your children.

Best bike in 650 cc range and easy emi options available. Secondly, it is not that costly compared to all other 600s. Riding experience is not less than a harley street 750 just the difference of cruising. Looks certainly aren't that attractive but is made bold in its own style. In case of vibration, 0 vibrations, much unlike re. Very less maintenance compared to other beasts in range as well as best performance after each servicing. Goes up to 160 kmph single seat.Mileage of 30 kmpl on highways with 650 is very much rare and that's what re is known for. Many pros and very less cons. Just the look and seating is a case of compromise but you get much greater features compared to cons.

Very competitively priced. Power delivery is very linear. The bike comes alive upwards of 4000rpm. Very easy to ride at slow speeds. Handling is spot on. The suspension having been designed by Harrisons performance is phenomenal. Cornering is spot on. The pirrelli phantom sportcomp is very grippy on smooth than roads in dry and wet as well. Not good on loose gravel and ruts. Breaking is very good. It's designed as a retro 70's classic. Hence looks can be subject to perception. 47Bhp and 52 Nm is not very impressive for a 650. but is adequate for Indian roads. Overtaking is a breeze. One doesn't even need to down shift. I have been achieving a fuel economy of around 25kmpl, which is very impressive for a 650. Service and maintenance cost is quite reasonable. The only con I can think of is poor electricals/ electronics. Royal Enfield has cheaped out on it.
