Royal Enfield Himalayan is one of it's kind a motorcycle. However, I would like to share the review based on my ownership of the same for 13 months and also give you an unbiased picture. COMFORT LEVEL - The comfort level of this bike is just too good. When I say comfort level I am referring to the Riding Position, which is great for both City Riding and Extensive Highway Touring. The Turning Radius is just awesome. This bike is longer(not bigger) than an average bike, for example my Dominar, but its extremely flickable. The bike is very easy to stand and manoeuvre if the situation needs so. And the suspension is possibly the best for any Indian motorcycle. The bike simply glides over any pot hole and or any patch of bad road. MILEAGE - Depending upon my riding position, which is nice and easy(but not slow), I got 22-23 in city and 28-30 on those open highways.

It was my dream to buy a bike like this and this has really satisfied my expectations. I bought it from navi mumbai showroom and they gave me a good service. This bike really helps me for my long trip, i mean seats are really awesome. I actually bought it for a trip which was to ladhaak and most of my friends had enfield and it was really a cool trip with a bike which runs like a bull on the road. I would really recommend you this bike if you want to buy a bike for long trips.

Armed with a potent fuel injected 500cc engine and clothed in a disarmingly appealing post war styling, this promises to be the most coveted royal enfield in history.

For those who want it all. The power, the fuel efficiency, the reliability and simple yet drop dead gorgeous classic styling. The classic turns heads not because it wants to but because it can’t help it. You will appreciate its beat not just for the sound, but also for the muted feeling of strength and power that it signifies.

The view is simply better when you are astride a royal enfield classic 500 – whether moving or still. Nothing more to be said. The royal enfield bullet was originally a british overhead valve single cylinder four-stroke motorcycle made by royal enfield in redditch, worcestershire, now produced by royal enfield motors, the successor to the british company, at chennai, tamil nadu, in india. The royal enfield bullet has the longest production run of any motorcycle having remained continuously in production since 1948.[1][2] the bullet marque is even older, and has passed 75 years of continuous production. The royal enfield and bullet names derive from the company's links with the royal small arms factory in enfield, london.[2]

The power, the fuel efficiency, the reliability and simple yet drop dead gorgeous classic styling. The classic turns heads not because it wants to but because it can’t help it. I appreciate its beat not just for the sound, but also for the muted feeling of strength and power that it signifies. When i see a open road, my heart jumps a bit and i go for a muted gallop. With my inexpensive ninja helmet half open and me smiling like a kid with increasing air pressure generated by the wind reminding me of reaching 100 as it tries to lift off my face. I stop and transform my helmet back into one piece to go past 100 and settle at a cruising speed of 110. On this bull it’s not how fast you reach 100 but the way it takes you there. The best part is how she pulls from 80-120 with some juice left, all you need is a straight and empty road. She can do 100 all day long. You feel all the 27.2 Horses galloping in a sync. On a std bullet, you would be rattling your tail off or perhaps churning milk into butter at 100+. Praying at the same time for early radar warning of any movable approaching hazard in your way.The engine requires nothing off you except oil change at 500km which i highly recommend, then at 6000km.

I had a issue of oil leak from the kick shaft which on second attempt after replacing the oil seal and plate, vanished. Not a drop of oil from anywhere since then.

There is some issue with the plugs turning out black which the re is working on it. Its happening only up north as far as i know according to re. Due to the cold weather and plugs meant for warmer climate. They will be replacing the plugs soon and i got mine. Upon changing, it turns out that plugs are not at fault but something else. Mystery continues while re has failed to address the problem so far.

The bike which fulfill all of your dreams. I love this bike because of its powerful engine which gives more power to the bike. Last month i was went to ladakh (himachal pradesh) that was on too height i was thinking i cant ride this bike on this height but seriously i want to say you guys royal enfield is just an awesome bike which cant take any load, my bike color is military green which shines in sun light. But maintenance is little high as compared to other bikes, mileage is low,and weight is little high for skinny people, but it feels us like a king with its royal ride experience , i recommend that if you think to buy then go for it..
