Reviews of Royal Enfield Classic 500

The power, the fuel efficiency, the reliability and simple yet drop dead gorgeous classic styling. The classic turns heads not because it wants to but because it can’t help it. I appreciate its beat not just for the sound, but also for the muted feeling of strength and power that it signifies.When i see a open road, my heart jumps a bit and i go for a muted gallop. With my inexpensive ninja helmet half open and me smiling like a kid with increasing air pressure generated by the wind reminding me of reaching 100 as it tries to lift off my face. I stop and transform my helmet back into one piece to go past 100 and settle at a cruising speed of 110. On this bull it’s not how fast you reach 100 but the way it takes you there. The best part is how she pulls from 80-120 with some juice left, all you need is a straight and empty road. She can do 100 all day long. You feel all the 27.2 Horses galloping in a sync. On a std bullet, you would be rattling your tail off or perhaps churning milk into butter at 100+. Praying at the same time for early radar warning of any movable approaching hazard in your way.The engine requires nothing off you except oil change at 500km which i highly recommend, then at 6000km.

I had a issue of oil leak from the kick shaft which on second attempt after replacing the oil seal and plate, vanished. Not a drop of oil from anywhere since then.

There is some issue with the plugs turning out black which the re is working on it. Its happening only up north as far as i know according to re. Due to the cold weather and plugs meant for warmer climate. They will be replacing the plugs soon and i got mine. Upon changing, it turns out that plugs are not at fault but something else. Mystery continues while re has failed to address the problem so far.

Bullet classic 500 is amazing for touring and having enough power to drive

Having good mileage too about 30 km/ litre.I have driven my bike non stop to kottayam from trivandrum i feel good comfort to drive and having good driving experience . My bike is desert storm i feel that this colour is good for modifying

I own a classic 500 tan , its a beast to own . It has tremendous power and torque you always are left with some power band in any gear and any rpm . To ride these it is a privilege and the glide over road just makes it more elegant . The looks are undoubtedly one of classiest and simple odometer adds it to the vintage look and feel . I would just like to see some changes in heat dissipation or cooling methods or else its a great deal and one will never regret owning so.

Bullet looks very classy !!! i like the classic 500 model the sound is amazing feels like king of all bikes average is a little bit low although it is a good bike buying experience ...Is waited for months. service and maintenance is average looks are very good average is low.

This amazing bike gives me tremendous respect among my friends, society and relatives....Whenever i ride this beast every single person on road stops and stares at me and my bike...It makes me feel amazing..The horn on this bike is simply awesome and cannot be compared to anything else...The same is its exhaust , the sound that it produces makes everybody to stare at it...

Hi, i have purchased classic 500 in October-2015 , i would suggest rather request not buy this motorcycle , this is the worst motorcycle, i have seen in my entire life, it's am saying after using it for just 17000 km , one fine day when i riding the bike small knocking sound started coming from engine within a ride of 5 km it was so loud that i stopped the bike & called mechanic of re , he said there is a major problem, i had to replace entire engine , it cost of 27k , till date i have regular servicing of re from showroom ,still this happened ,after asking service engineer he said is this problems happens in most of 500 , somehow i tried to digest this but one more surprise was waiting for me against in 6 days of time motor stop working i again called the mechanic he said there is minor issue with starter . He did sometime & it starting but this was not the all , against after two days motor stopped working , i got really frustrated & asked re service to solve the problem , he said start has got damaged its be on repair , i had spent more 14k on this Conclusion : 60 k spend on repairing for use of 17k km, not worth for a bike like this.

One of the best motorcycle in the indian market ..If you love daily commuting and long drive definitely you have to go for this motorcycle.. Riding experience in this motorcycle is awesome you can hit 250 - 300 km stretch in this without stopping.. Top speed you can hit 120km/hr without any hassle.. Breaking is good in this motorcycle.. Mileage i got 30kmpl in bangalore city and highway you get 32-35 kmpl depend how you ride the motorcycle. Servicing and maintenance is cheap compare to other premium bikes in this segments.. Talking about the looks of the bike is great retro look ..You won't get bored about looks and eye catching motorcycle when you ride through roads ... Overall best motorcycle for all people definitely you have to own if your fan of re motorcycle.
