TVS-owned Norton plans to return to racing

- Norton plans to go racing

- Isle of Man TT or British Superbike Championship

- TVS could launch a few Norton bikes in India

Norton Motorcycles – the British motorcycle company that TVS purchased last year has shown intentions to get back to racing.

This development was announced by company’s new head Robert Hentschel. The top honcho said that this British brand also belongs to racing and he would like to get into this soon. However, there’s still no information on whether the company plans to start with Isle of Man TT or the British Superbike Championships.

Over the last few years, the British manufacturer had a couple of ups and downs. In fact, it almost went bankrupt and that’s when TVS decided to enter the scene. The Hosur-based company has invested quite a bit and it plans to turn Norton around with this investment and future strategies.

We are expecting a few Norton bikes to make its way to India sometime in the future. But expect it to come with a hefty price tag and that is obviously going to make a lot of people just drool at the bikes from outside the showroom.
