TCX has launched a new adventure touring boots. It goes by the name Infinity 3 and is part of the brand’s Infinity EVO range.
The Infinity 3 is available in tall and mid models and is suitable to wear under touring pants. It is made from a mix of microfiber, engineered fabric and leather. The tall version gets the famous Gore-Tex membrane which is known to offer excellent breathability and waterproof. The mid-version, however, gets the T-Dry membrane to keep the costs in check.
In terms of protection, this pair of boots get shin plates and some reinforcements on the toe, heel, ankle and gear shift area. The Infinity 3 is also equipped with a special dial fastening system that adjusts the tension of the external lace. This has been done to regulate the fit in the instep and shin area, down to the millimetre. The adjustable front band with Velcro panel completes the fastening system for the perfect locked-in feel.
The TCX Infinity 3 pricing starts at Rs 22,300 and goes all the way up to Rs 30,000 for the top-spec version. We can expect one of the online retailers to bring this model to India. However, it won’t be cheap. Royal Enfield should bring a cheaper version of these TCX boots to India as it is bound to sell well.
