Suzuki grows by 17.7 per cent in May

- Suzuki registers 17.7 per cent growth in May

- Good demand for Access 125

- Wil launched naked 250cc streetfighter this year

Suzuki has registered a growth of 17.7 per cent in May. The company sold 62,596 units last month as compared to 53,167 units in the same month last year.

While the company didn’t mention the reason for this growth, we believe it’s due to strong demand for the Access 125 – the highest selling 125cc scooter in India, along with the Burgman Street 125 – a maxi-scooter built on the Access 125. Both these scooters have been performing decently well for the Japanese brand over the last few months.

Suzuki is expecting a further growth as the company has recently launched the Gixxer 250 SF and also the Gixxer 155 SF. These bikes are expected to perform well in its respective segments, as both the bikes are loaded with great aesthetics along with utility features.
