After debuting the Hawk 11 at the Osaka Motorcycle Show in Japan back in March, Honda has now revealed its specifications and other details. Let’s take a look.
The Honda Hawk 11 is powered by a 1,082cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor that dishes out 100bhp and 104 Nm. It’s mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The motor is the same as the one Honda has used in the Africa Twin and the NT1100.
On the feature front, the Hawk 11 packs LED illumination, four riding modes – Sport, Standard, Rain, and one user-selectable mode – the latter allows riders to save their customized settings. Apart from the aforementioned features, you also get Honda Selectable Torque Control and ABS.
The Honda Hawk 11’s semi-double-cradle frame is suspended on Showa Big Piston fork and a linked monoshock at the rear. Further, the braking hardware comprises dual front discs and a single rear disc with dual-channel ABS. It rides on 17-inch alloys wrapped in a 120/70 front and 180/55 rear tyre. It tips the scale at 214kg and gets a convenient seat height of 820mm.
Honda offers the Hawk 11 in two colours: Pearl Hawks Eye Blue and Graphite Black. The asking price has been set to JPY 13,97,000 (approximately Rs 8.44 lakh without taxes). However, Honda has no intentions of bringing the bike to India anytime soon.
