Honda Africa Twin Summary
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has announced the 2022 Africa Twin Adventure Sports for our market to rival the likes of Ducati Multistrada V4 and the BMW R 1250 GS. The motorcycle is available in two gearbox options – a six-speed manual and Dual Clutch Transmission. This motorcycle will be sold via Honda’s exclusive Big Wing Topline showrooms and imported via the Completely Knock Down route.
Both variants use the same 1,082.96cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that makes 98bhp of power at 7,500rpm and 103Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. The feature list comprises a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), ABS, HSTC (Honda Selectable Torque Control), and Bluetooth connectivity feature. Both MT and DCT variants get four default riding modes (tour, urban, gravel, and off-road) and two customisable (USER 1 & 2) settings. Furthermore, both variants also get Apple CarPlay and the newly added Android Auto system.
The styling cues retain a semi-fairing design, tall windscreen, twin-pod headlights, Daytime Running Lights (DRL), cornering lights, tubeless tyre compatible wire-spoke wheels, and a 24.5-litre fuel tank. Visually, the two variants are distinguished through their respective colour options. The Dual Clutch Transmission is available in Matte Ballistic Black Metallic colour. The manual transmission, on the other hand, is sold in Pearl Glare White Tricolour scheme.

Power and consistency in between legs like riding a wild horse with efficient control electronics makes it a perfect engineer. for a long trip, DCT is the most efficient in my point of view beating a Japanese brand I would like to have Honda instead of Yamaha for its relatively low-cost maintenance and tuned engine.
