I checked with lot of people, based on which i finally decided buy this bike. Everything was going good but all of sudden it started showing some quality issue like engine over heating, acceleration problem.
When it comes to riding the bike its good, but when it goes into the dark hell side when it is being ridden for for than hour and lot of heat starts coming from the engine.
No power kill switch, which places it in the average bike even though it is high range bike which honda promises to be.
Good balance thanks to the wide radial triers.
Performance/ mileage is good, it needs to be well maintained in order to keep it that way.
Servicing and maintenance is quite ok.
Pros: good looks and mileage.
Cons: kill switch is missing, engine over-heating, dim head lamp and seats could have been better if it was split into two.

If you need a good mileage and balance in low cost maintenance this bike is for you.

Hi i am writing this review after using this bike as a regular 75 to 80 km commuter for the last 2.6 years. For me it was an update from a 110cc bike and the initial experience was good. This is the worst machine designed by honda as there are numerous problems with carburettor, chain & sprocket , engine vibration at above 75 km/hr. & even not proper control when braking at speed above 65 km/hr. Handle cannot adjustable, chine's materials used for petrol tank which get automatically crack etc. Etc.. So if any one wants to buy this worst machine don't go for this....

7 months back bought brand new honda hornet 160r metallic blue, it was very attractive first time, really awesome feeling, while riding honda hornet 160r, very smooth engine, pickup, suspension, no back pain while riding.. Today my hornet mileage give me upto 57-58 kmpl, about service and maintenance, starting their was chain problem but in first service they solved it with chain setting and lubricants..
