  • 40+ average and 160+ speed, stunning BMW G310RR

    Sourabha Malve

My wife gifted me the BMW G310RR Sports, which is a Polar White colored bike, last year, in the month of Feb 2023.
The buying experience was very good. I bought the bike from Pune's BMW Motorrad Showroom and then the very next day I drove it to my home town, Solapur, which is 250kms.
Started early morning from Pune. As it was my very first ride I drove it at just 70 to 80 kmph speed.
About the looks, it's now more than a year and people around me still admire the bike and ask me about the bike whenever I am waiting on the red light on traffic signals. It really looks very premium and here in my small town people don't believe that a BMW bike is on their roads.
Performance is what will drive you crazy. It is very very quick, responsive and along with good road presence it also has a very good road grip. Commuting in traffic is also very easy. No doubt the turning radius is not good, but still cruising in traffic is easy.
I only and strictly fill Speed Petrol of Bharat Petroleum and in the city when I drive calmly the bike gives me an average of 28 to 30 kmpl. On highways when it's driven at a constant 80kmph I literally got a whopping 40 to 42kmpl.
The first serving of the bike was after 1month. For this, I drove the bike for 250 kms on one side, at an average speed of 70kms and got, again 40 plus average. I also achieved 143 kmph of top speed. The first service cost me around Rs. 7.5 to 8k.
The second service was in the last month, after 1 year from the first one. Again I drove the bike for 250 kms, one side, and this time I touched the top speed of 162kmph. The second service also cost me around Rs 7.5 - 8k.
As servicing of the bike is only once a year I feel it's not at all costly.
Now coming towards the downsides. It's definitely a head-turner. In big cities, like Pune too people watch you. So if you don't like it, then go for a budget-range bike.
Apart from this, yes it's not for pillions. And also some people complain about the vibration of the bike. According to me, if compare it with any electric bike, then yes BMW G310RR does vibrate a lot. But if compared with any 300+ cc bikes then it's not much. You will get used to it.
In conclusion, I would say that it's a very nice bike, surprisingly fast and good performance. But many times I feel it's very underrated.

The BMW G 310 RR is a highly anticipated addition to the BMW Motorrad lineup, bringing the brand's renowned engineering prowess to the realm of sport bikes. Here's a comprehensive review:
    Performance:
Powered by a 313cc single-cylinder engine, the BMW G 310 RR offers a good balance of power and agility. While it may not compete with larger displacement sport bikes in terms of raw power, it excels in urban environments and twisty roads. The engine delivers smooth power delivery throughout the rev range, making it enjoyable for both novice and experienced riders alike.

The BMW g310rr looks looked a very sporty bike, her riding style is comfortable, we can use it for a short long tour, the servicing is good by the company and maintenance is affordable, its performance is good, her cons is when you ride this bike upto 70 to 80 speed it little bit noise from the front side, pros is a sporty look and ride comfortably with all mode.

Drive it calmly, fill only premium fuel probably from only the known petrol pump, clean the chain and lube it regularly, after every 800 to 1000kms and ride safely and carefully.
