After launching the Leoncino siblings in India, Benelli has introduced yet another retro-inspired offering, the Imperiale 400. The motorcycle has entered into the middle-weight touring segment which is currently dominated by Royal Enfield’s Classic and Thunderbird offerings.
The motorcycle will be officially launched between 22-24 October while deliveries for the bike will start from Diwali onwards. The Imperiale 400 is likely to be pegged around Rs 2-2.5 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Benelli India will be bringing in the retro-cruiser styled Imperiale 400 during the festive season. The motorcycle will compete head-on with the popular Royal Enfield Classic 350 and now also the Jawa, with the former leading the segment in the 300-350 cruiser segment for years now.
Benelli India is betting big on their Royal Enfield Classic 350 rival – the Imperiale 400. The company believes that this motorcycle will bring them the most volumes as it will become one of the most affordable motorcycles in their family.
