The 752S is a quintessential Italian middleweight naked motorcycle. There is more than a little bit of the Ducati Monster in the styling. The oval headlamp with the horizontal bisection, the exposed trellis frame and the numberplate holder that bolts on to the rear axle instead of hanging from the tail lamp are all design cues similar to the product from Borgio Panigale. The Benelli will be powered by a parallel-twin liquid cooled motor that displaces 752cc and generates 77bhp and 67Nm. Suspension comprises of upside down Marzocchi front forks with 117mm of travel, and a rear monoshock with 45mm of travel. Braking is courtesy twin 320mm front discs with semi floating twin-piston callipers and a single 260mm rear disc. ABS will be standard.
The Benelli 752S will compete with the likes of the Ducati Monster 797, Kawasaki Z650, Triumph Street Triple 765 and Suzuki GSX-S750 when it is launched here sometime in 2019.
