Blindly purchased this jupiter scooter after having a amazing experience using tvs wego. Went to tvs to again purchase tvs wego. Don't know why i made a mistake purchasing this scooter. Its been a year am using this. Average is 40-45. Looks is fine. Making noises from front headlight portion since day one. A noise is coming often from rear end on broken roads. Service centre is unable to fix this problem. Design issues if you guys take a close look in the mid where we keep our legs while riding - cheap plastic is used which gets dirty in its first month. Use any polish u want it will remain dirty as is. Second most important thing there is big gap don't know for which purpose it is left open where we keep our legs just above the hook where we hang shopping bags. See to it.. Big gap useless gap.. They really need to work upon it. I purchased this scooter in matt grey colour it is seriously a colour i wont recommend any of you. Please don't purchase it. It attracts dirt on to it. Your scooter will always looks like it needs a wash. Some paint defects came out after one month of use. This is seriously a scooter from tvs of which i am very disappointed. Waiting for my instalments to complete will sell it to buy some other scooter. Tvs you really need to bring back wego - amazing product.

I bought Jupiter in December-17 in chennai. I am satisfied with the performance but the scooter gave worst mileage. I drew till the last drop of petrol and requested to fill the tank, and found it can consume only 4 ltr not 5 ltr as tvs said. And again i drew till the last drop of petrol to find the mileage and found the scooter gave only 96 kmpl for 4 ltr of petrol. It just gave 23 kmpl in city. I used to drive the scooter from 25 kmph to 50 kmph, never driven more than that. My scooter is yet to give for first service and total km driven is 170km.

Within one hour we come out from the showroom with jupiter. Bike stealing our heart in first sight.Joyful riding guaranteed with smooth and easy handling. Good looking like a king. Good control and best fuel efficiency. Especially shock observers are fine. No jerk and no jumps going smoothly. We give the bike for serving time to time to get best performance from my bike. No need to pay a single rupee for maintenance. Feel free to own this bike. I couldn't find out any cons in this bike while i am using.

I was planning to buy a scooter for many reason, main reason being that a scooter can be driven by any one in my family. The second reason would be ample amount of space in front which would allow me to keep stuffs rather than carrying them along and so i preferred a scooter over a bike. And speed wasn't a factor so a 110cc engine was enough to satisfy my requirement.

I had many options like honda dio, honda activa which is one of the most selling scooters and till date not much have said anything against active, but one thing that mattered to me was the looks was very average. Although these days activa are much bulky but they still lack in terms of look and the average also isn't that great to talk about. Being a middle class man i always wanted to buy a scooter with good average.

I almost waited for 3-4 months to decide on which scooter to buy, and fortunately i came across jupiter. Initially i hesitated as it was from tvs and brands like honda are trustworthy but to my surprise the scooter till now has performed exceptionally. I purchased this on 26th of last month and drove 5 km from the dealer showroom and it was a very very smooth ride.

Since then i have been using this scooter continuously. Almost clocked 350 kms till date and still going great and the same smoothness is maintained. The best part is that the machine is very smooth and not like the previous tvs models. The machine is as smooth as the machine in activa, and the balance too is well maintained with petrol inlet at the back so one does not need to get off the scooter to fill petrol.

    Few highlights:

Additional panel like the econometer and the pass light is added.

Petrol inlet at the back, hence avoiding user to get off the scooter whenever petrol is being filled.

12-inch telescopic alloy forks are better than the 10-inch ones used in other scooters.

Mobile charging point and better seating posture.

My experience till now has been wonderful with this scooter. The ride is very much smooth with not much noise from the engine. After clocking 350 kms on this scooter i can proudly say that i have got a deal which was worth it. The best part is that the scooter has unisex appeal and any one from my house can ride it. It's more of a home vehicle than a personal vehicle.

    Fuel consumption:

I have checked the average twice, once by myself and once at the service centre. Both the time it gave me an average of 50 kmpl. And i feel it's a perfect average that a middle class person would need. One thing that went horribly wrong was when i visited service centre for checking the average as they removed 100 ml petrol from my scooter and check the average from my 100 ml petrol itself and charged me 150 rupees. 50+ average is quite good when it comes to scooters.

    Comfort:

The comfort level is better than conventional scooters, and i personally feel that the ergonomics have been improved in this scooter. The seating poster and the balance is perfectly maintained. The comfort should be top class for better riding experience and so is it.

    Reliability:

The body seems tough, and not only tough but very stylish too. Sleek design with good built makes it altogether a better scooter.

    Handling and control:

As mentioned earlier the control and handling is perfect and improved over other scooters. After riding almost 350+ kilometers i have personally felt the improved handling and control which makes it more better. I had taken a test drive of wego too before buying jupiter and there was a noticeable difference between both of them.

    Looks:

Jupiter has superior looks which can impress any one. Somewhat similar to dio, jupiter seems more better as it's bulky as well as stylish.

I seriously like the petrol inlet concept which helps me fill petrol while i am seated.

I purchased this scooter for something around 49, 000/- and with all the formalities it came for something around 51, 950/-

I would say a good competition for scooters like activa, dio and wego as well.

One thing that i got pissed off with, was the service centre guys were very rude and i wasn't satisfied with the way my scooter was serviced. After my free services i would move to my local mechanic.

    Final verdict:

Clocked around 350+ kms, and till now everything has been smooth and well in place. After my free services i am expecting the scooter to perform more better.
