The pricing of the bike is slightly higher than its competitors yet it has a good engine and the pickup is awesome. The seating is very comfortable and is useful for long rides. The looks are not up to the mark but never go by the looks of the vehicle because it has got a good performance when compared to its competitors. The vehicle has a good mileage in the city. The service costs less than 1.5k. The vehicle has got a good resale value.Pros:1)it has got a good city mileage 2)the engine is quite and smooth 3)the build quality is superb since it is made up of mostly metal 4) maintenance cost is less. Cons:1)the looks are a bit creepy. 2)the instrument panel is fully analog.

Tvs jupiter is an excellent bike when compared to competitors in this segment and when comes to look wise we can expect a premium look and the rear view is also good and the leather finishing for seats give you an extra premium look when compared to normal variant and mileage is also decently covered.

  • Best scooty for Indian roads

    Ashish

Tvs jupiter bs 6 model is very nice scooty as it's mileage is minimum 10-12 km/l greater than honda activa bs6 model and full metal body, usb charging, premium seats , increased space under seat and wheels dimensions are some other features which makes it best in comparison to other scooty in this range.

Very bad service center. I purchased tvs jupiter vehicle in the month of august 2018 and i recently migrated to kerala. After driving for a month there was a big noise from the silencer when i given the vehicle for repairing at thrissur tvs (kuriyachira & thrissur both) they found silencer was broken and it should be replaced. Given the vehicle and and waited for more than 12 days still they are not able to get the spare parts. I suggest please don't go for any tvs products and poor customer care service.

  • Is it worth the price paid

I bought this scooter in year 2014 and the sales staff of the showroom was quite well educated and gives a detailed analysis of vehicles. Some pros and cons of the vehicle are 1.Mileage- as promised it does not give a mileage of 60kmpl averagely or gives 40kmpl 2. Look is quite decent and the accessories add charm to it individual experience might differ. 3.Servicing is quite expensive as compared to honda activa in this segment.4.It truly provides a classy riding experience but one can face problem with its head lamp which is not too good.5.The fuel pipe is quite big and one might face problem when it collides with breakers.I would recommend not to buy it instead one can go for activa. Thank you.

  • Excellent scooter by tvs

    Puneet J Lonsane

Hello everyone,I would like to share some of my views on tvs jupiter. Tvs launched this scooter in September 2013 under the tagline “zyada ka phayda”. The tagline itself states that the scooter is fully packed with useful features. • the tvs jupiter comes with a 110cc cvt-i, 4 stroke engine. • the powerful engine delivers power upto 5.88 kw @ 7500 rpm: excellent power for a scooter in this segment. • the best thing of this scooter is the suspension. It comes with a telescopic suspension (front) and gas charged mono-shock (rear) suspension. The ride is very comfortable because of the suspension. • about the brakes: tvs jupiter comes with drum brakes (both front & rear). • the attractive speedometer console has a ‘low fuel’ indicator too. • the passing light switch is the first in class feature of this scooter. No other scooter in this segment has the passing light switch. • tvs claims 62 kmpl mileage for jupiter, but it gives around 50 kmpl mileage. • another best thing is the alloy wheels along with tubeless tyres. I have ridden my scooter for approximately 30,000 kms, and got the tyres changed to mrf tyres. • the external fuel filling system is too useful. You need not open the boot everytime you fuel up your jupiter. • tvs jupiter has a top speed of around 90 kmph. • if you need a scooter for city ride as well as long rides i would strongly suggest you to buy this excellent performance scooter by tvs.

Everything degraded the scooter especially the brakes.1.mileage around 20 to 25 kmpl only .
    2. tyres worst tyres got damaged within 6 months.
    3.headlights consumes more battery.
4.brakes are not worthy.they are combi brakes so whenever you go around 40 to 50 while to a certain distance if you want to brake it skids.
    5. acceleration is dump .while you reach 50 to 60 and stop in a signal or somewhere and after you take off the bikes goes or accelerate as it goes as it is punctured it goes slowly.
6 totally a worst scooter .only for the elder persons and for old people .

  • Best scooty for Indian roads
