Yamaha has marked its presence in the high-end cruiser motorcycle segment with the Star Venture. The bike will be launched in North America this August.
The Star Venture is available in standard as well as the transcontinental version. The standard version includes electronic control, large LCD screen and extensive storage, while the transcontinental version offers additional equipment and features which further enhances the pleasure of long-distance riding.
The Star Venture gets a 7-inch touch panel that supports audio and navigation systems, and vehicle information display. It also reads out details pertaining to the heater and the electric screen, as well as the communication systems.
The bike is powered by 1,854cc air-cooled V-twin engine. It also gets a redesigned air intake, exhaust system and Yamaha chip-controlled throttle system.
The motorcycle also gets the SURE-PARK system which allows for convenient front and reverse parking and maneuvering of the motorcycle at speed of approximately 1kph.
