Take care of your machine

One of the key factors in extracting good fuel economy is to take good care of your machine. Regular servicing, replacing engine oil at recommended intervals and keeping all other fluids topped up goes a long way. We also can’t put enough emphasis on the importance of keeping the tyre pressure at optimum level to keep the rolling resistance minimum and thereby keeping the fuel consumption in check.

Analyse your riding style

It’s not just the motorcycle you need to pay attention to but also the way you ride it. Revving it to the red line in every gear, being lazy in changing gears, and going aggressive on the throttle every time you move from a standstill are some of the practices needed to be avoided. Modifications 

While most riders modify their motorcycles for pumping out more performance or tweaking the aesthetics, certain mods also contribute to lessening the amount of fuel your bike guzzles down.
