Piaggio Vehicles has announced the reopening of the Vespa and Aprilia dealerships across India. The company added that the dealerships will follow all the necessary guidelines from the authorities.
The Italian two-wheeler brand will follow specific guidelines such as contactless greetings, using hand sanitisers, and maintaining social distancing at its dealerships. Customers can either visit the dealerships or they can book Vespa and Aprilia with contactless experience on the company's e-commerce platform. Piaggio further added that the home deliveries of Vespa and Aprilia are also facilitated assuming the safety of consumers.
Speaking about recommencing operations, Diego Graffi, Chairman and MD of Piaggio India, said that the dealerships have geared up to address all vehicle sales and service requirements with precautions as per lockdown opening guidelines.
The press announcement stated that consumers can gain from special offers in sales and service of Vespa and Aprilia scooters across all the opened dealerships. Customers can also avail test rides of Vespa and Aprilia scooters, including the recently launched SXR125.
