Honda has launched the updated Grom in the USA and the Japanese pocket-rocket has been refreshed for 2025. Here is what the new Honda Grom has to offer.
Honda has gone for much simpler and more subtle lines on the design front. While it retains the overall appearance of the previous model, the 2025 Honda Grom is available in three variants and five paint schemes – Candy Blue, Pearl White, or Cherry Red for the base model, Matte Black Metallic for the Grom SP, and Pearl White for the Grom ABS. It now comes with an LED headlight, tail light, and an optional belly pan.
Powering the new Honda Grom is a 124cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. It makes 10bhp and 11.1Nm which is decent for a commuter of its class. The engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox. On the feature front, the Grom comes with a fully digital LCF that packs all the necessary readouts, and ABS for the top-spec models.
Even its hardware setup is quite simple – USD front forks and a monoshock with a 220mm front and a 190mm rear disc mounted on 12-inch wheels wrapped in 120/70 front and 130/70 rear tyres.
The asking price for the Honda Grom is set at USD 3,599 (approximately Rs. 3 lakh) for the base model, USD 100 (approximately Rs. 8,400) more for the SP model and USD 200 more for the USD trim. Honda has no plans for getting the Grom to India. But there are a lot of other 125cc two-wheelers sold in our country which offer more space, more power, more features, and overall better value for money at a notably low asking price.
