Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle maker, Ultraviolette Automotive has trademarked the X44 name in India. We believe the X44 could be the second electric motorcycle from the EV maker after introducing the Ultraviolette F77.
Now, we don’t know many details about this motorcycle barring its name. But, given the X44 nomenclature, and the usual philosophy of using the ‘X’ suffix/prefix on an off-road biased motorcycle, we believe the Ultraviolette X44 could turn out to be an adventure tourer or a scrambler. But, this is just speculation on our part, and the actual product can be different as well.
Meanwhile, the Ultraviolette F77 is the only offering from the bike maker, which is available in three variants – Standard, Recon, and Limited. The base trim is priced at Rs. 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Recon variant costs Rs. 4.55 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-spec F77 Limited is priced at Rs. 5.50 lakh (ex-showroom), however, only 77 units were available and all of them are sold out.
