Triumph Motorcycles have revealed their latest product in the middleweight roadster segment, the Trident 660. The new roadster will join the company’s India portfolio very soon, and here we bring you a detailed image gallery of the motorcycle.

Right Front Three Quarter

The new Triumph Trident 660 features a retro design that is complemented by modern features. The list includes full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-ready instrument cluster.

TFT / Instrument Cluster

The Bluetooth module is available as an accessory and it enables features like turn-by-turn navigation along with controls for phone, music and GoPro.

Left Side View

The motorcycle is built around a tubular steel perimeter frame. The design includes a contemporary fuel tank with knee cut-outs, flat-style handlebar, adjustable brake lever, a step-up seat, swingarm-mounted rear numberplate, and an underslung exhaust.

Right Front Three Quarter

The Trident 660 will be offered in four colours – Matt Jet Black & Matt Silver Ice, Silver Ice & Diablo Red, Crystal White, and Sapphire Black.

The suspension setup on the roadster includes 41mm Showa separate function front forks and a pre-load adjustable rear Showa mono-shock. Anchoring tasks are handled by 310mm twin discs at the front and a 255mm single rotor at the back that are grabbed by Nissin callipers.

TFT / Instrument Cluster

The safety net includes switchable traction control, ABS, two ride modes (Road and Rain), and an engine immobiliser.

Action

The Triumph Trident 660 is powered by a 660cc, inline three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 79.8bhp at 10,250rpm and 64Nm of peak torque at 6,250rpm. The motor is paired to a six-speed transmission. Triumph will also offer an A2 variant of the motorcycle in the European market. It will deliver 46.3bhp of power at 8,750rpm and 59Nm of torque at 5,250rpm.

Top View

The six-speed gearbox comes with an assist and a slipper clutch function while a quickshifter is available as an option.

Action

The motorcycle rides on 17-inch, five-spoke cast-aluminium wheels that are shod in Michelin Road 5 tyres.

Right Rear Three Quarter

The roadster comes with 10,000miles/16,000km service interval and a two-year/unlimited mileage warranty.

Optional extras include 45 accessories that comprise of My Triumph Connectivity System (Bluetooth module), Triumph Shift Assist (quickshifter), an under-seat USB charger, scrolling indicators, bar-end mirrors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
