Norton Motorcycle files trademark for six names

Norton Motorcycle has filed for trademarks to get hold of six new names. This is their biggest development since the TVS acquisition.  

The company has applied trademarks for the following names, Norton Electra, Norton Fastback, Norton Navigator, Norton Nomad, Norton Ranger and Norton Combat. These names are likely to be future Norton motorcycles that are expected to make its debut in the next few years.  

Some of these motorcycle brands were on sales in the 60s and the 70s. So it looks like the company wants to revive these brands and help them garner some sales and revenue. We can expect some of these models to make its official debut within a year.
