Classic Legends – the brand that will relaunch the Yezdi range of motorcycles in India has released a teaser video. This teaser video shows the new Yezdi Scrambler that will be unveiled to the world on 13th January.
The Yezdi Scrambler could also share the stage with the adventure bike, but as the teaser video only shows the scrambler, we can expect the ADV to be unveiled at a later date. Over the last few months, we have managed to see some spyshots of the bike that revealed quite a few details. Things like a tallboy stance with a beak-like front fender, long travel suspension with fork gaiters at the front, chopped rear fender with a tyre hugger can be seen on the bike. The bike also gets a single seat with a ribbed pattern round headlamp and mirrors, spoke wheels, a peanut-shaped fuel tank, and a chrome exhaust canister.
While it is not confirmed yet, but this Yezdi is likely to get the same 334cc liquid-cooled engine that does duty on the Jawa Perak. This four-valve mill produces 30bhp of power and 32.7Nm of peak torque with a six-speed gearbox.
We are expecting Classic Legends to sell the upcoming Yezdi scrambler and adventure alongside the Jawa showrooms. This route will help them save a huge capital costs and also increase overall showroom footfalls.
