The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is a modern-retro styled street naked motorcycle. The bike marks the company’s foray in the sub-500cc segment.
The bike is powered by a 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It produces 39.50bhp at 8,000rpm and 40Nm at 5,500rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The bike comes with ride modes- Eco and Performance.
This engine acts as a stressed member in a steel tubular frame. The said frame is suspended by a 43mm telescopic fork and a preload adjustable monoshock. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and interestingly, it has chunky tyres. At the front, there is a 120-section tyre while at the rear there is a 160-section tyre. That makes the Guerrilla 450 the bike with the widest rear tyre in the segment.
Braking duties, meanwhile, are carried out by a 310mm disc at the front with a dual piston caliper while at the rear, there is a 270mm disc with a single-piston caliper. Dual-channel ABS is standard. The bike tips the scales at 185kg (kerb) while the ground clearance is 169mm.
The design of the bike is like you’d expect from modern-retro motorcycles. You’ve got a round LED headlight, a teardrop shaped fuel tank and relatively slim tail section. The company has come up with a set of bold colours for the bike. They are Playa Black, Gold Dip, Brava Blue, Yellow Ribbon and Smoke.
The bike is available in three variants- Analogue, Dash and Flash. The base variant gets an analogue-digital instrument cluster while a Tripper navigation pod is offered as an option. The top variant has a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and Google based navigation.

The Guerrilla delivers an impressive mileage of 28 kmpl, making it a standout choice for those seeking fuel efficiency in a competitive price segment. It offers excellent features for its class, easily matching or surpassing rivals in terms of tech and comfort. However, there are a couple of minor drawbacks — the toggle handle feels a bit unfinished, and the seat could use a bit more length for added comfort on longer rides. Overall, it's a great value package with strong performance and features that justify its price point.

The bike performance is so good after 3000RPM you can feel the raw power, the riding comfort is also good on this bike there are some cons as well like in traffic the bike got so much heat which is quite noticble on the foot pegs, the turning radius of the bike is not good overall i love this bike the looks road presence power, and the brava blue my bike color, i choose this bike over triump due to the road presence.

My Everyday Beast – Living with the Guerrilla 450

So, I’ve been riding the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 for a few weeks now, and honestly—it’s been a blast. I didn’t expect to fall for it this quick, but here we are.The first thing that hit me was how easy it is to handle. For a 450cc bike, it’s surprisingly light and nimble in city traffic. And when you get a stretch of open road, that engine just pulls. It’s got that typical RE grunt, but with a smoother feel—kind of like a matured sibling of the Himalayan.Design-wise, it’s a stunner. I’ve had people ask me about it at red lights. It has this stripped-down, no-nonsense vibe that feels both modern and retro. And the riding position? Super comfy. My back and wrists are thankful.I mostly use it for daily commutes and short weekend rides, and it’s been solid on both fronts. The new digital console is handy (finally!) and the bike feels planted even on uneven roads. In short, it’s got the soul of a cruiser and the guts of an everyday ride. If you’re thinking about it—go for a test ride. You’ll know what I mean.

This bike is fun to ride on cities and highways. Mileage is tricky on this bike and depends on riding styles. I maintain 60-70 kmph in 5th gear, and my mileage is 36. It increases the overall km range in the next refuel. Maintenance is cheap if driven smoothly after studying of owner’s manual. Abrupt speed bursts and revs can reduce its mileage a lot, and also gear shift must be quick and smooth at the mentioned speeds, which will also help to increase mileage.

If you need something different and are tired of seeing everyone owning a classic 350, then Guerrilla 450 will suit your needs. It has immense power, is comfortable to ride, and looks amazing. Total bull on the road with very nimble handling. The brakes are good, mileage is decent considering the power. A few things which could have been better but aren't a deal breaker, first, Traction control could have been given, and second, very limited accessories are available for this model, which makes customizing the bike a bit difficult. But otherwise, it's a different beast to ride.

Absence of traction control/safety features
43 weeks ago
Raj
The absence of traction control is a big miss for me. As cc is higher more safety features should be added by OEM.Even if not all variants higher variants should be given options so that customers have the choice to choose safety also. The bike looks ok in other aspects. A slightly better road presence would have been appreciated.
