CFMoto 675cc, triple-cylinder engine details revealed

- New engine will power the CFMoto 675SR

- Produces over 100bhp and 68Nm

- Will also spawn multiple new models

Chinese bike maker CFMoto has revealed the technical details and specifications of its all-new 675cc, triple-cylinder motor. This new motor will power the upcoming CFMoto 675SR sportsbike, a prototype which was showcased at the 2023 ZhuZhou International Festival in October this year.

CFMoto has revealed that the new 675cc, triple-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor will produce a maximum output of over 100bhp at 12,300rpm and a peak torque of 68Nm at 8,250rpm. The engine will come paired with a six-speed gearbox.

The company has further revealed that the engine is capable of accelerating from 0-100kmph in ‘less than three seconds’. Furthermore, the new engine is claimed to be 10 per cent lighter than similar motors from other brands, weighing just 55kg. This has been achieved partly by using forged aluminium pistons.

Although it is confirmed that the new triple engine will be first seen in the CFMoto 675SR, the company announced that the motor will be used as a base for various new models that are scheduled for launch in 2024.
