BREAKING: Suzuki to quit MotoGP!

-  Suzuki to leave MotoGP

- 2022 will be the last season

- Statement should be out soon

Suzuki has decided to quit MotoGP at the end of the 2022 season. This development came out after the post-race test in Jerez.

This news came as a shock not just to the fans around the world, but also to the team and its members. The reasons for this exit aren’t known yet, but it could be seen as a way to keep overall costs in check. The Japanese brand had quit racing in MotoGP for 2 years due to a financial crisis and this time around, it could be using the same development to quit racing.

As of now, Suzuki hasn’t come in public and shared this news, but we can expect to brand to reveal some details in the next few days. Dorna Sports says that Suzuki can’t decide to quit MotoGP on its own and it would have a conversation with the brand before taking things forward. The racing authority did confirm that there are a few motorcycle brands that have shown interest in becoming a part of MotoGP.
